Brave Heart

| Appearance: | Brave has a golden yellow coat that glistens and shines in the sunlight, expressing how bright he is with others. His black mane and tail are short and of an unkempt nature (and remnants of his human black hair in the Shifted storyline). He also has mild, brown eyes that seem very soft and fragile, but hold a warmness within them that makes other ponies smile. His legs are very lean, but very strong. Despite being an earth pony, he was never big. As a natural compensation, Brave was quicker than most others. His hooves are also a lot harder than normal. The doctors say he had a lot more calcium in his diet (but in the Shifted backstory, Kent's karate training has formed his hands and feet into stronger than normal hooves.). |

| Personality: | Brave generally is nice with everypony and tries to avoid any conflict normally. He will, more than often, put everypony's needs and wants before his own. He doesn't mind talking to other ponies and will gladly talk with others, but he likes to have his own time to contemplate and mind his own business. |
| Backstory: | Brave Heart was born and raised in Manehattan. His school days weren't exactly the best; he was often mocked and bullied by other ponies. He was a top student wherever he went, and most thought he would gain his cutie mark through his intelligence, Oddly, that never happened. Brave didn't understand it himself, but nothing he did seemed to illustrate the appearance a cutie mark. His family was worried; nothing seemed to work. This went on into his late teens, as he is now, a young, 19 year old colt. He is glad that other ponies respect him despite his lack of a cute mark. Every now and then, it bothers Brave not knowing who he really is, though he doesn't show it (He's practiced. A lot...). He decided to wander all around Equestria. Potentially he might find his true calling, or perhaps a reason why his cutie mark hasn't appeared yet. His parents, despite their protectiveness with Brave, decided to let him go. They always told him that he was always welcome back, and to make sure to study hard out there. Brave knew it was his parents' sense to always make sure Brave studied and did well. But would studying make Brave find the one true thing he loves? Is his endgoal waiting for him, or will he wander endlessly as a blank flank? He traveled to many places, but none have found his calling so far. It wasn't until he recently entered [insert location for the certain roleplay here]. Maybe Brave might find his calling here? -------------------------------------------------- Shifted: The Remake Backstory: Originally human, Kent Fuerza was a teenager in college minding his own business. He was a general jack-of-all-trades guy; Good at many, excelling at none. Kent was a passive teen. He liked hanging out with his friends, did his best to avoid confrontations. Even as such, he eventually learned and practiced karate in his mid-teens as a form of defense, NOT offense. In grammar school, he was often bullied, yet never believed in fighting back. Once he entered high school, thoughts ran though his head about who he was. "Why should I show sadness to people if it won't make them happy?" An epiphany hit him like wind escaping from his lungs. "Making people happy and smile is something I like to see in people." He eventually went on to help out other students in whatever area he could, even if it meant at the expense of some sleep for him. He eventually graduated and went onto college. Kent normally had few, but close friends; he preferred personal experiences rather than open and big relationships with many, many people. Once the Barrier had been broken, Kent discovered a rift behind his residence hall. Kent was always fascinated by the new and curious things that he has never seen before. He walked closer and closer toward this crack in time and space with at a slow pace. With no time to react, the crack seemed to violently pull him in and shoot him across the Reslia Perelis. Kent saw many things flash before his eyes ask he rocketed through this dimensional superhighway. The pressure was too much for him to handle; his vision faded and his limp body was flung an uncountable distance. During this time, his body changed into the sentient being that was dominant at his destination: ponies. His hands and feet became hooves, his face jutted out and became like that of a horse, his skin grew a ridiculous amount of hair, eventually turning a golden yellow color. Other features were added... such as a bushy, black tail... and others were removed... such as his memory as a human... and some not even included... such as his cutie mark... After the journey, a rift opened in Equestria, specifically on the outskirts of the Everfree Forest... What will await Kent in this unexpected journey? |
