|Appearance:||Sunglasses, a camouflage vest, and some military cap; the U.S. Army Officer's Green Dress Cap. Has boots, red leather. Dog tags around his neck, and what appears to be equipment pouches hanging from one or two spots on his vest. A strange can hangs from the vest as well, with a small metal ring attached. His color is gray, but may be found in camouflage.|
|Cutie Mark:||The head of a fierce lion, roaring with it's eyes squinted. What could be the meaning of this mark? Perhaps it is to represent bravery in the face of danger..perhaps his homeland? It could even be the fact that the mountain lion is one of the few predators of the horse.|
|Personality:||Gruff, resourceful, and strategic, The Col. is always one to prepare, set up barricades and camouflage netting with a radio camp during a picnic. But selfless and brave, has been known to face horrors best unmentioned to give innocents but a moment longer to flee.
Still, his good intentions do tend to...bother, the more ignorant-of-danger residents. For example, having troops transports on standby while he clears a cake shop for any possible bombs...or maybe that one time when he attached cameras to the heads of birds as improvised scouts..he never rests, never assumes safety. That had cost him dearly once.
He hasn't found the need to here, but he has done things for his country. Things that would leave many distressed. Things that left him cleaning blood off his fore-hooves. But the stains never leave..at least not for him.
|Backstory:||Colonel Ketchup rose in bloody combat, given honors for things he felt were wrong. When High Command ordered him to clog the enemy's meat grinder of a defense with soldiers, he lost a piece of himself that day. When he was awarded honors for the slaughter of his men to overtake a dozen meters of ground..well, Ketchup didn't feel it was worth it...through the carnage he rose, and grew to detest the idiotic tactics, which would bring needless casualties.
The Colonel rose and rose, eventually being in charge of an entire regiment. But time had passed..he then led a peacetime squad that did little more than law enforcement work. Still, he would take any chance to get up and at it..
Not very wealthy for some time, hounded by creditors and needy parasites, he penned memoirs to try and fund these drains on his assets.
