Sanctified Absence 126 August 31, 2014 Share August 31, 2014 (edited) Which Sephiroth? Safer Sephiroth managed to stop Holy, call Meteor and nearly kick Cloud + Cos' asses all at the same time. Advent Children Sephiroth is supposedly hitting mutli mach speeds (and not even going all out against Cloud) as well as has the killer instinct that nobody but the non-Discord villains have. Crisis Core Sephiroth was an insane combatant, and that was where he was weakest. That and people seem to forget. Every MLP Villain has hesitated to kill the heroes in some way, Sephiroth would outright destroy the 'pathetic,' equines the moment they started becoming a problem. And if I'm not mistaken Sephiroth has more than enough power to destroy a planet, and not even all of the magic in Equestria can do that. I'm sure they're very far from mountain-busting by the looks of the S4 finale fight. Well in all technicality he needed ton supercharge the Black Materia to have planet busting level feats, of course if ponies get the Rainbow Power/EoH etc. Then Sephiroth should also have access to the Materia. He has no 'mommy' issues because that which he referred to as mother is now part of him and vice versa. Actually that's a tad misleading. Sephiroth was born to Professor Hojo and Lucrecia Crescent approximately twenty-seven years before Final Fantasy VII (exact date of birth unknown[2]). Before Sephiroth's birth, Hojo and Lucrecia were working as assistants to Professor Gast, Shinra Electric Power Company's top scientist, on the Jenova Project. The project studied the remains of an extra-terrestrial entity known as Jenova, who was mistakenly thought to be one of the Cetra, an ancient people who had the power to "talk to the Planet". Hojo injected cell samples from Jenova into the pregnant Lucrecia and her unborn baby. Lucrecia carried Sephiroth to term, his fetal form merging with the Jenova cells as he developed. After the baby was born, he was taken away from Lucrecia by Shinra scientists. She never even had a chance to hold her child. It probably wouldn't be the Sephiroth the series came to know and love (and hate), but nonetheless Sephiroth as a child existed independently of Jenova before she became a part of him. Celestia has no knowledge of Sephiroth, JENOVA or even where this invader came from. Twilight herself found it difficult to go back a short period, going back years would imply Celestia > 1000x Twilight, which she isn't. Discord is capable of many things. Its not inconceivable that he could read Sephiroth's deepest memories.
