Hero or villain?

Who would you like to be? A hero or a villain?

 

I will be a villain. Cuz the are awesome and if I have a powerfull weapon/superpowers, I should destroy all the people so the nature and all the creatures can live peacefull and free without a guy that thinks that is the owner of the world.

Um. Hero. I mean the powers of a villain to seem better, but I'd rather not be the bad guy. I have no reason to be either, but hero makes me feel better and not guilty.

Well, being a villain would probably be a lot more fun, but the hero is preferable as they are more likely to develop bonds with other people and develop deep & loving friendship while setting up a world full of hope & love for everyone.

 

Or is that too idealistic?

Super villian all the way! I mean being a hero is cool, but who doesn't like being able to just blow up a building when there angry? Except normal people who decide that they don't want to go to jail, I mean.

I always want to be a villain/evil, but my good side always prevails. Like making a DnD character that isn't a Templar/paladin is always so hard for me, or playing Sith over Jedi. I can easily play the neutral bounty hunter/smuggler/rogue type though if I focus on being the character instead of projecting myself.

 

I suppose if I just went completely crazy ala Joker or Mane-iac style I could pull off villain. Chances are I'd end up coming out like Dr. Evil instead.

 

Maybe my predilection for the moral types of characters is why Mr. Freeze is my favorite Batman villain. He just wants to save his wife Bats! You're rich! Fund his research! Lol

I'd probably have to pick the villain. Surprise, Surprise! 

My philosophy is that a competent and great villain only contrasts the greatness of the Hero. 

 

I'd be the kind of villain that would put the hero to the test all of the time, and troll them hard! 

But, really I've got a soft spot for humanity so my intentions aren't really that evil, I guess I'm more of a rival than anything else.

 

Got to make sure the hero's powers stay in check or the world will be doomed (and thus I won't be able to take over  :comeatus:)

i am neither yet both. to be a good hero you have to sometimes be bad. at least that what i am like in the book i am writing.

I'd prefer to be an ideologically complex villain. You know, the kind who plans something awful but for good intents. Then i'd have a totally badass showdown with the hero where i'd get to be all snarky and witty for no apparent reason.

Anti-hero lol.  The guy that comes off as a total jerk most of the time and pretends not to care, but ultimately saves the day and acts like he did it unintentionally or for selfish reasons.

The villains seem to look the coolest a lot of the time, but I'd still choose to be the hero. I want to save the day not destroy it.

I'd say an anti-hero. You know someone who doesn't play by the book and will even side with the villain at times, but still follows a basic moral code and can kick ass when needed to.

What I would like to be? Definitely the hero; it would feel morally wrong for me to want to be the villain for real.

 

As for what I'd like to play as in a game or something, then probably the villain. Their powers are usually so much cooler

I would say villain but I don't know because I would much rather not have the hero beating in my face every other week when someone inevitably comes to foil my evil scheme that Ive already used ten times before.
