Does anypony know how big mac got his cutiemark? It never says in the show!! if you've written a fanfic or something about it then I'd love to read it!!

It dosen't say in the show but I have seen this one artists take on how it happened in this one fancomic.

I have come to the conclusion that it has something to do with half a granny smith (Apple) but what maybe he did something with some apple's no pony will ever no maybe season 5 will shine some light on this mystery

My own theory on it is that he bucked a tree with a huge granny smith apple on it, and it fell down. A simple story for a simple stallion.

Maybe he just didn't have an interesting story about how he got his cutie mark, and he was stretching the truth a little bit in order to be able to cause a distraction in Where the Apple Lies.
