Shower Thoughts

Do you think a lot in the shower? I do. I usually end up taking far longer than I meant to because of it. What do you think about? It can be in general, or specific to the last shower you took.

 

You don't have to go all r/showerthoughts on me, but I want to know I'm not the only one who's mind goes on a rabbit trail in the shower.

Today in the shower I thought about what life would be like when I'm on my own, and I have to do all the little things I take for granted living with my parents.

I zone out and start a deep thought process about Pinkie and the universe,that and trying not to slip and fall like i have before..

I like to ponder about random stuff when i'm in the shower. The warm stream against my skin and the sound of cascading water puts me in a deep 'think mode' sometimes. Though i usually consider random stuff, no specific pattern or anything. Could be philosophy, could be basketball, could be ponies, too.

I often use my morning shower as a time to reflect. I will often just stand there, and try to reflect on the issues of yesterday, and how I can better avoid them or solve them today. I use it kind of like a mental staging area, setting things up for the long day ahead.

I don't really think much in the shower because it's a pretty high alacrity shock to the face. I take cold showers only.

Showers..it's like a love hate relationship for me. I always end up thinking about ways my life could be more exciting, songs, or random stories. But then it's all interrupted when my damn mom bangs on the window and scares me. EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

I do think a lot in the showe about different things i am going through that week or day etc.... I sometimes get realyl deep in thought that sometimes I even forget I am in the shower xD

I'm usually a half-asleep zombie when I crawl into the shower each morning. I sit there and daydream until I wake up properly, or think about whatever odd dream I had the previous night. I'm more lucid during my evening shower, though, and I do tend to just sit there and think. Everything from brainstorming story ideas, world-building, pondering problems about work and life, problem solving... Most of my best thinking happens in the shower.

 

I think I've single-handedly caused the water shortage we're experiencing in Western Australia.

Well, I'm a heavy thinker by trade, so I tend to think of various things while I shower (PM shower, I don't shower in the mornings). Sometimes I'll think about life, issues, MLP, video games, or whatnot.

 

Heck, I can make up situations for my various OC characters and develop my characters from there. Thinking is FUN!

I try not to think "pony" in the shower.  It...  Complicates things. <_<

 

I think about precisely how I'll go about my showering lol.  Seriously: I'm obsessive compulsive.  There's a freakin' method; an order that must not be disrupted.

 

Many times I'm thinking of a song that's stuck in my skull.  Possibly an MLP-related song. xD  And oftentimes I'll sing what I know of it.

 

Might also work out some little things that have been nagging me.

The shower is one of my few thinking places, I stand and think about a lot of stuff in the shower, and that's where a lot of my ideas and thoughts come from. I tended to take a long time in the shower, 20 - 30 minutes. However, now that I've moved into this new place with a small hot water tank, it's decreased to about 15. I think about all sorts of things, mainly they revolve around story plots, I like to write. But, they also go to business ideas, and what I want to do in life. (I want to start my own business.) 

 

My parents were always curious as to how I could spend so long in the shower, but the time flies when you're caught up in your own thoughts. As well as the shower, I spend alot of time thinking in the time before falling asleep.

Well, I for one don't like my showers to take too long, so I just usually think about showering at the time.

Some days I think a lot in the shower.  Sometimes I talk to myself.  Some days I just sing.  Usually MLP songs.  I often take too long because I don't want to stop the shower until the song's over.
