Talking to inanimate objects

I do this allot (mainly my rainbow dash teddy) but what i want to know is do others do it and if so how much 

 

do people find it weird like i shout at my pc like its a living thing and i sit there and wait for a reply 

 

im not gonna say the weird things that happens with rainbow dash but i should say she talks to me so (its a teddy i might be abit insane but oh well)

I do this often too,for example i enjoy talking to my sandwhich as im making it or talking to myself randomly.

 

Personally i don't think its weird,but that's just me and everyone has a opinion and it may be different from mine.

I don't usually talk to inanimate objects. I do, however, talk to myself quite a lot, especially when I'm nervous or upset.

 

I don't think it's weird at all, though.

I actually don’t but, when I need to solve some tough task, I often think out loud or talk to myself as second person. BTW, it’s the known way to solve coding problems called “rubber duck debugging.”

I don't really talk to myself, to be honest. I do talk to my pets, but I'm pretty sure every good pet owner does that.

I sometimes talk to my Fluttershy plushies........and sometimes she talks back....

 

I talk to other inanimate objects as well, such as the TV or other things.

Yes, but the majority of it is violent swearing at things that hurt me in some way (drooping something on my foot, stubbing my toe, cutting myself while making food, etc), or at my computer when a game isn't going my way.

 

I also do a little rubber duck debugging for a lot of problems I try to solve, not just coding ones, although more often I pretend a person so standing there and I'm talking to them, not to a particular object.

I often talk to my weapons, I sing them sweet melodies in their mother tongue as I clean them and ready them for another glorious day.

Some of them I have even given names to.

When I'm styling my brushable ponies' hair, I usually continually say things like "Look at you! You're so cute! You are going to be so pretty!"

 

I talk to the Hello Kitty plush that sits on my car's dash. It falls over when I turn sometimes and I'm like, "OH MY GOD CAN YOU STOP FALLING PLEASE!!!!" Sometimes I add some expletives in for extra flavor.

 

I also chat to my food, especially delicious sweets... "Don't you look just delicious!!!!"

 

That's all I can think of right now, but I probably talk to a lot of other items too haha. It becomes subconscious after awhile.

I do this all the time, mostly when I'm just not feeling good. I have this adorable Sylveon plushie and it could write a freaking 200 page essay about my life because of all I tell it. It really helps me calm down and sometimes (this'll sound silly ) I imagine that it gives me advice. I know it's just me giving myself advice, but whatever. xD 

And I do that too, V. I play something like Minecraft with my brothers watching and then they go do something else I'll still be talking.

I rarely talk to specific objects, but I do talk out loud when no one's around quite a bit. I know it sounds weird, but speaking aloud to myself can actually be very calming for me.
