It's official, that stream is going to play the latest game in the series. Which is Pokémon X. Get excited because there is no f***ing emulator to play it in your computer. They will use a modified 3DS to play this exciting game. If you seen this post, it's either counting down now or they started playing!

I don't understand Twitch Plays Pokémon. It's an interesting concept, but the TPP fanbase has always confused me. I'll never understand the weird memes these guys made. -3-

It's nice to know that the stream is going to play Pokémon X. If only I got the chance to see it, my Internet doesn't like streams. :<

Is that thing still going? I do recall it crashing Twitch and then they had to move it off to a different server just to cope with the load. It was pretty amusing, I have to admit.

is the gator debate about one of the pokemon being too powerful?

Yeah, LazorGator. Kinda killed the enjoyment of TPP in a lot of people, myself included.

It's interesting that they'll be using a modified 3DS for Pokémon X, pretty cool imo.

Pokémon X/Y is certainly one of the more popular games to stream on Twitch though, so more interest should probably be garnered compared to the last few playthroughs which tanked pretty bad in viewership.

Oh jeez, that poor 3DS.

Anyway, I abandoned TPP awhile ago, back when they were just starting Ruby or whatever. They should have done it on a yearly basis, so nobody would get tired of it. but instead they ran the concept into the ground as fast as possible.

I think the biggest draw of the first game was the struggle, overcoming the odds. It seemed like such an impossible task, no one knew if the game could be beaten. Once that happened there wasn't anything left to prove, the rest of the Pokemon games are pretty much the same. But it was good fun while it lasted   :yay:

I heard it's gonna be more chaos, but after what happened and i saw so far, the host or streamer must've closed off the wireless communications and turned off the wi-fi activities therefore not allowing us to give it support by giving O-Powers. People who gave pokemon to twitch plays pokemon must've been a huge sacrifice for them, but once or by the time game is done, the pokemon that people contributed will be lost.

Only...five...days?

What sorcery is this? Even Marriland took a few week to beat it, the most Pokemon obsessed person I know finished it in a little more than a week but the Twitch fanbase of all people? Wow.

Isn't there in X&Y, certain paths you have to walk through at an angle because of the 3DS's circle pad?

How would that work in TPP? Unless they add commands for moving diagonally, but still, it would be really difficult.

EDIT What? They finished it already?! Well, nevermind then. I don't understand how or when this happens, every time I joined a TPP stream the trainer just walked up and down for an hour.

Forget about Twitch playing Pokemon, It's all about Fish playing Pokemon now

Rofl, I saw this, and I was just like. "I... I am done" ;p.

Anyways, dang, I can't believe they finished this so fast, Twitch Plays Pokemon already finished the whole Pokemon series.

I honestly never watched much of it, I just don't have the patience to really, or interest in many cases. But I did hear the fan made lore for the original, and I found it quite hilarious and interesting, as well as sounding pretty epic.

Still I don't think i'd be one to watch it very much if any, and it's kind of over now.

I kind of think it should've been spread out a bit more, maybe waiting a few months for each, or maybe even half a year to a year for each one, spread out the enjoyment, maybe keep the fanbase waiting and thus more excited or something. I feel like they went through the whole series kinda fast, and people got a bit tired of it, even the biggest fans. Considering how long it can take to do one of the games ;p.

It was an interesting and creative concept for sure, and it sparked some fun stuff, even if I never personally watched it, i feel they could've done a few things better, but regardless.

So that was lackluster. If they were to do this again, I would actually love to see them do the spin-offs. Especially Mystery Dungeon.

Yes, this!!!! These are my favorite games of all time, and it would be pretty hilarious and difficult to finish.

I kinda lost interest after Red rlly, but now, that fish is a true pokemon master. He managed to get his own pokemon. :o
