Forlorn Filly (Violin Based Music)

Hey all, I uploaded my first piece a while back, I would appreciate any criticism or advice. 

I am also looking for someone who is willing to edit my music but I am going to post a separate topic on that in the "Creative Resources" section.

 

I played both the violin and the guitar but my main instrument is the violin. I hope you enjoy it.

What mics are you using if you dont mind me askin

It's pretty good. However, there are a couple of things:

 

The tempo a bit too fast. It really doesn't leave room for expression, as when you're moving at that speed, you can't really perform vibrato, which I feel could make this piece have that emotional connection.

 

Also, your transitions from notes are a little sloppy. It may have just been the mic, I don't know. 

 

Speaking of which, it sounded like everything was run through a filter. I think you may need to get a better mic.

 

All in all, it was a well-crafted piece, but it just didn't have that emotional aspect.
