Just gonna chime in and say that my first day of Bronycon was pretty awesome.

 

Hope everyone else who's at the con is enjoying absolutely everything, from the vendors to the panels to Bronypalooza. I can speak from experience...

 

Bronypalooza was actually kind of awesome, despite my misgivings, and I'm definitely looking forward to it again tonight.

OOOHH MY GAAAAWWWWD I bought so much stuff!!!!! I'll post pictures later. Right now I'm un-packing all this stuff.

 

I had so much fun!!! I did stuff that I would NEVER been able to do in any other public! Bronies don't judge you at all. I still can't believe all the stuff I bought. Before Bronycon, i made a ton of little perler bead ponies, then traded them all at the pony merch trading panel.I got soooooo much. At one point, I saw a decorate-it rainbow dash, and the kid trading it wanted something else. So I had to trade a Pinkie plush for some blind bag figures, then trade those for discord wings, then that for the Rainbow dash. It almost turned into the episode "Trade Ya"

This is extraordinarily true. It doesnt matter what bullshit you see or encounter online from other bronies, but at BronyCon, no one gives a flying fuck and everyone let's you be yourself to the max. It's truly fucking glorious, really.

It wasn't the walking that did it to me, I'm used to walking a ton around my hometown.

 

It was all that hopping and shuffling in Bronypalooza. I'm not usually into the whole EDM thing so I don't normally do it, but it's actually a great workout so maybe I'll take it up.

I think that advice totally depends on who you are. My parents know and nothing has changed between us at all. That's not for everyone, obviously, but it's not life-destroying for everyone like some people say it is.

I almost went this year. But next year, I'll definitely go. Gotta save up for it. I wanna get one of the better tickets. Also, I'm wondering how I should get there. I live decently close to Baltimore. Niagara Falls isn't too far from it. Should I catch a plane? There's an Amtrak in my city. I also need to drag my only brony friend along. I'll pay for his ticket, too. Also, Bronycon has been announced for August 7-9 next year.

That luna plush was 25, and the giant bag actually came free with the purchase of the shirts. Most of it did in fact range from 20 - 30.

At least you didn't have someone's knee cap destroy your leg as well. Im quite honestly surprised I even made myself shuffle and hop around with the damn thing as long as I did.

 

Speaking of, I still need to practice it more and so do you for next year!

Try having your shin smashed in by a friends knee cap and then dancing around for, like, 3 hours or so straight. That shit gets to ya, man. Then do add in walking and another night of dancing. Yeah, my legs and my right one specifically kinda hated me during that time.
