More and more, I want to find out what awesome anime series are out there.

I'm mainly looking for a series with an awesome plot and developed, memorable characters.

So far I've watched Elfen Lied which was wonderful! Now I'm watching Toradora and FMA:BH, which are both awesome in their own way.

Please tell me some more anime like these, so I can start watching them. Also tell me if those series can be found on YT or elsewhere.

Watch 'Spice and Wolf'

If you're looking for memorable characters, this is the show.

Unfortunately, it's only 2 seasons, but the light novel series goes on much longer.

(First off, you should check out Crunchyroll, it's free(though you'll have to deal with a lot of ads that way) and official, pretty much a Youtube of anime)

As for what you should check out... Gurren Lagann, Attack on Titan, JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, Madoka Magica, Death Note, and Kill la Kill are all really great imo and should have what you're looking for. ;)

For the sake of mentioning series that don't often get mentioned, check out Darker than Black and Mushishi. Both are available on Hulu for free.

DTB is action- and story-driven. It has fantastic music and tells a complex, thought-provoking tale very well. It does get to be a bit much at times, but hey, it's still top 2 for me for what it's worth.

Mushishi is unlike any other anime I've ever seen. It's completely episodic (no overarching series plot), and is almost exclusively devoted to art rather than action. I't so beautifully done, a relaxing and lighthearted treat among more serious and/or zany shows in the genre. Again, top 2.

If FMA:Brotherhood appeals, I'd say go watch the original too. Take my opinion with a grain of salt, but I enjoyed the original more than Brotherhood (not to start any wars).

Whatever you watch, enjoy! Glad to share my experience

A group of people are resurrected from their deaths by a mysterious black ball called GANTZ to combat alien criminals hiding on Earth.

Warning:Gantz is very very graphic in both sexuality, nudity, gore and violence. Watch at own discretion.

Next up is an arc anime in other terms it s a longer multi season anime not as long as one piece or naruto so easier to jump into.

Cowboy Bebop and everything by Studio Ghibli. Also Clannad(bring tissues and a friend to cry on).

Oh and I highly recommend watching Fullmetal Alchemist(original), before going on to Brotherhood. It's significantly more detailed on the first half of the events of Brotherhood.

Pleaserino no Sword Art Onlineierno tho :(

Nah, but that looks like an excellent watching list, mate. If you're gonna watch Boku wa Tomodachi tho (and tell us who you think best girl is, eh?) I'd also recommend you take a look at Nisekoi. Same basic premise (harem anime) but wildly different in execution. And why is Puella Magi Madoka not on that list?!
