private Weather Outbreak (IC RP)

Storm was flying around Ponyville as usual until the sky started to darken suddenly. "What the buck is going on? It's still morning, isn't it?" He asked himself as he looked up. Dark clouds. Dark clouds everywhere. Lighting bolts quickly arrived after them, making Storm had to flee. His special talent is related to lighting bolts and storms but he wouldn't want to be hit by a lighting bolt. Strong winds started to pick up and blew him away, forcing him to stay on the ground to find a shelter. The black Pegasus soon arrived at a cave near Ponyville with an Earth Pony inside...

Inside the cave, Photon Jet with his electric powered jet suit by his side was reading the heading of a newspaper. The heading said "Severe weather unexpectedly hits Equestria! Stay inside until further notice!". "Now why would there be extreme weather at this time?" Photon Jet thought to himself. He looked at the loud thunder as lightning bolts hit the ground outside the cave.

 

He then saw a Pegasus from a distance heading towards the cave entrance. Without question, Photon put the newspaper down and put on his jet suit. He found that the Pegasus is in danger so he stood at the entrance close to him. "Hello!" he cried out to him. "You shouldn't be outside in this bad weather. You need to get inside, quickly!"

Storm nodded and galloped in as fast as he could, panting lightly. "Argh... What the buck is wrong with the weather... One moment it was sunny and dry then the next moment it was dark clouds, gusts of winds, raining and lighting bolts everywhere!" He huffed and sat down. Storm isn't really a happy pony when he is disrupted from his flights.

Photon Jet watched as the exhausted Pegasus sat down. "I'm about as concerned as you are." he said. Little did he know that the weather can change almost instantly. With his two eyes, he looked at the dark clouds travelling together as the lightning continues to strike.

 

Photon Jet then turned his view to the Pegasus who is feeling down. "What were you doing out in the open?" he told him as he looked at the cutie mark, thinking if there is a connection between him and the dark clouds.

"I was flying around as usual and then the dark clouds came. I didn't do anything about them...." Storm answered what he knew at least. He could fly fast with a trail of lighting sparks and he could do a sonic boom with those sparks but not controlling the weather. At least not as sudden like that.

Photon Jet knew the Pegasus is innocent when he replied to him. But he was still puzzled about the extreme weather that suddenly appeared. He went back on reading the front of the newspaper. "Something seems off." he said. "The weather forecasters said there would be plenty of sun around Equestria today. There's no way there would be weather as bad as this."

Storm nodded with a sigh. "Either they are wrong or something strange is happening around here....." He thought out loud. He had never seen anything like this before. Sudden rain? Yes. Sudden extreme weathers? Nope. Storm just sat there and thought to himself: What the buck is happening...

"Exactly!" said Photon Jet as he continued to read the newspaper. "So it looks like something is happening somepony is causing havoc above the clouds." Photon Jet thought the only way to find the answer is to have a word with the Equestrian forecasters. Feeling confident, he decided to get himself prepared to head out and find answers.

 

As he starts getting ready, he looked at the Pegasus and trotted over to him. "What's your name by the way?" he said to the Pegasus.

"Ah I'm Arcing Storm. You?" Storm answered as he stood up. He then looked at the machinery and asked. "Is that a... Jet pack?" Storm had seen one before from one of his friend. He is good with high tech things but they rarely see each other due to him locking himself in his house.

"My name's Photon Jet." he said to Arcing Storm. "I'm an expert when it comes to electricity and even technology." Photon Jet then noticed Arcing Storm looking at this jet suit. "Ah, I see you're interested in my electric powered jet suit." he told him as he puts it on. "This is what I use to fly around Ponyville, even in harsh conditions. Pretty neat, huh?"

 

He then looks at the dark clouds outside. "And I'm gonna need it to find out what this hullabaloo is all about." he concluded confidently.

"I'm going." Storm said, spreading his wings and out on his goggles. The wind gusts might be strong but he was determined. He looked outside and it was still raining, lighting bolts everywhere along with strong gusts of wind. If he isn't careful, he might injure himself but he accepts the risk.

Photon Jet was quite surprised to see that Arcing Storm is about to leave as well. That gave him an idea. "Seems you really want to know all of this as much as I do how about we tag along together?" he told Arcing Storm. "I think I know just the place to find answers!"

 

Photon Jet thought Cloudsdale is the best place to go to as many Pegasi work up there. But if they're not responsible for all the severe weather conditions then what is?

"Where should we go first?" Storm asked. A gust of wind rushed in the cave but Storm fought it and trotted outside, looking around. Why wouldn't this stop... He sighed as he looked around in the rainy environment. He fought every gust of wind came to him, standing firm on the ground.

"It looks to me that the best way to find answers is to go to Cloudsdale!" Photon Jet said to Arcing Storm as gusts of wind flew at him. "The Pegasi up there might know about all of this."

 

Suddenly, lightning from the dark clouds crashed near Photon Jet and Arcing Storm! The weather might be bad enough for both ponies but the madness must be stopped before it gets any worse.

 

Photon Jet began powering up his jet suit as leaves blew over both ponies. "We're gonna be in for a wild ride at this rate!" he told Arcing Storm.

"Let's go. I hope you'll catch up soon." Storm said and darted away after a Thunder Blast, leaving electric sparks behind as he flew to Cloudsdale. He dodged lighting bolts after lighting bolts as he usually does. The Pegasus was somewhat targeted by them but he didn't mind.

"Hey, wait for me!" Photon cried as he took off with his jet suit.

 

The winds blew heavily, the rain poured and Photon Jet was trying to keep his balance as he flew towards the dark clouds. The lightning was everywhere with loud noises! But that didn't stop him as he was determined to keep going. But then, a bolt of lightning struck the jet suit's power supply but that didn't faze Photon Jet one bit. After being struck by a bolt of lightning, Photon Jet dashed through the dark clouds at high speed and followed Arcing Storm towards Cloudsdale.

After a while of flying filled to the brim with raining, gusts of wind, lighting bolts, they finally arrived and Cloudsdale was in the same condition. Storm panted lightly as the wind really drained his stamina but that didn't phase him. He kept his yellow-tinted goggles on because of the heavy rain.

Photon Jet saw Cloudsdale up ahead. "Looks like we're here!" he told Arcing Storm. "Now we have to find out about this extreme weather stuff."

 

As the two ponies arrived at Cloudsdale, Photon Jet had a feeling that something's not right. The place was still at top shape but there were no signs of Pegasi anywhere. "That's strange..." he thought to himself. "They're supposed to be a lot of Pegasi here. Has the weather scared them off somehow?"

 

Photon Jet also knew that he cannot land on Cloudsdale because he's an Earth pony so he has to float with his jet suit.

"There should be at least one or two Pegasi here... Maybe something happened to them?" Storm suggested. But what? He stood against the rain, thinking as he looked around the abandoned place. He trotted around, trying to find some pony but no luck. Nopony was around.

"Let's look around Cloudsdale for some clues." Photon told Arcing Storm as he went another direction.

 

The place was too quiet. Too quiet for Photon to even imagine what has happened to the Pegasi. Photon Jet looked around Cloudsdale but there wasn't any clues to be find. "This is like a floating ghost town..." he nervously thought to himself. He was just about to meet with Arcing Storm again when suddenly...*SLAM* There was a distant sound that surprised Photon Jet and below him is a trail of rainbow coloured hoof prints. "Uh, Storm?" he called to his companion. "I think I've found something!"

Storm galloped over and looked at the rainbow hoof prints. "I know only one pony that can leave rainbows... Rainbow Dash. But where is she?" He looked up and scanned their surrounding for any clue where she might went to. The only thing is... The trail of rainbow hoofprints. "If we follow these, these might lead us to her. Maybe she knew what's wrong."

Photon Jet agreed with Arcing Storm. "Let's follow the hoof prints to find out where they lead." he told him. A moment later, both ponies then followed the rainbow coloured hoof prints. The trail was long and some hoof prints were facing in the opposite direction. Photon Jet thought Rainbow Dash could've been in trouble.

 

At last, the trail ended at a steel door. "Hmm..." pondered Photon Jet. "That could be where that noise was coming from."

"Let me try." Storm looked at the steel door and pushed it. It took him a while but it finally opened, letting the two in. "Too dark to see anything in here......" He said, trying to look around the dark place. Storm hoped that RD wasn't injured too badly. She is one of his role models besides the Wonderbolts.

"I'm certain she's alright." Photon Jet  told Arcing Storm as he followed him into the pitch-black room. As soon as both ponies enter the room. Photon Jet saw the hoof prints lead shadowy figure who is shivering.

 

"G-G-Go away!" called a voice from the figure. The voice didn't sound like Rainbow Dash at all. Instead, it sounded like another pony.

 

"Who's there?" called Photon Jet.

 

"N-No one!" replied the voice from the distance. "Get away from me and leave!"

 

Photon Jet thought it was Fluttershy but the voice also doesn't sound like her at all. Who could it be?

"She doesn't sound like either RD or Flutters... Who are you?" Storm mumbled to himself before asking the pony. He trotted in the direction to the shivering pony. "Or more important, Are you ok?" Storm asked, worried for the pony, hoping he or she's isn't injured too badly.
