Depends on how much you want to share your enthusiasm with the world! I, for one, own a couple of pretty subtle, classy tee shirts. I wear them occasionally, but it's my style not to overdo anything or go crazy buying merch.

 

As with many other subjects on the forum, the bottom line is just have fun, be yourself, and have confidence in your own opinion and style! If you're looking for recommandations to explore, you might have to ask somepony else, though! ^_^

Well, I went full brony. Got a Build-a-Bear Fluttershy, a Doctor Whooves Funko Vinyl Figure, and a custom-printed Thunderlane T-shirt. Funny thing is that I'm still a closet brony for my family, and it's not easy to hide a giant 15'' Fluttershy in my room. :v

 

Just buy whatever you like. If you need to hug something, get a plushie. If you need to get recognized, get a T-shirt or a button. If you want to decorate your room, get a figure. It all depends on you. ;)

When I wanted to start collecting I went on YouTube and started watching reviews of products (my favorite review is BinsToyBin, for what it's worth), seeing various products in detail gave me a good idea of what was out there and I went from not having a clue to knowing EXACTLY what I wanted to collect... Which turned out to be something very few Bronies collect; but oh well... I love my Brushables! :D

first things i bought were the Seasons 1 and 2.. than i bought the Rainbow Dash TY Plush, said it was for my niece.. but im eventually going to get Season 3 DVD and Equestria Girls blu ray eventually

You can find some good stuff on Amazon, like DVDs and books. And Redbubble and WeLoveFine are good places for prints and shirts.

You can start anywhere you'd like with pony merchandise ^_^

 

- Amazon.com has good deals on the vinyl figures from Funko.

 

- Stores like Target and Walmart probably have the brushable toys or plushies in stock.

(I don't collect those, personally).

@@blue_reins, as the question you're asking has been asked before, I have merged your thread as a comment to the pre-existing thread. Hopefully you will find some answers in here. :) Please use the search function before making a thread, you might find what you wish to discuss already has a dedicated thread. :)

 

Personally, I started with the Blind Bag figures, they're cheap and you can work out which one is inside (if there is one you're particularly after).

Like many people have said, it depends. Do you want to be full on which means you buy EVERYTHING MLP. (T-shirts, bracelets, dog tags, anything!) Or you can just be in the middle where you own some merchandise, but not a lot. Then you got your closet where you get nothing at all. So once you find what you want to be then you can just go out there and buy, buy, buy! (or stay, stay, stay.)  :fluttershy:

You can start wherever you want, but it also depens if you are a closet brony I recommend you get smaller pieces of merch, maybe some Funko mystery minis, or some blind bags or a classy shirt. But I you want to start big, go get one plushie or some of the Funko Vinyl Collectibles (My personal favorites are Rarity and Discord) These are one of the best pieces of merch you can get, they are show accurate and have a great price.

There are a lot of MLP merch out there to discover! The first MLP merch I got were the little mystery mini figures, I bought about 6 of them! They are all very nice (I have two Fluttershy's yay :'3) I'm pretty open for the love of the show so I buy shirts, but a good place to start might be some figures :) Really just depends on how you are with expressing your love for the show
