Wrestlemania is a week away from right now! Get hype! Looks to be one of the greatest WMs of the past 10 years on paper thus far. My favorites are XIX, XX, 21, and 23.
My all-time favorite Wrestlemania matches:
Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho - XIX
John Cena vs. Big Show - XX
Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Benoit vs. Triple H - XX
Money in the Bank Ladder Match - 21
Shawn Michaels vs. Kurt Angle - 21
Shawn Michaels vs. Vince McMahon (No Holds Barred) - 22

I thought Taker was 19-0 at Wrestlemania. Anyway, I barely watching wrestling nowadays, but it will be interesting to hear how fans react to Cena vs. The Rock. That feud has been up and down since its inception. The WWE writing team needs to get its act together.
It's also weird that the title match is totally overshadowed by a non-title main event. Wrestlemania has almost always been about the winner of the Royal Rumble versus the champ; things have definitely changed.

You're right, Taker is 19-0. For some reason I kept thinking he'd go 20-0 at WM30 but apparently he probably will this year.
I'm expecting a Cena heel turn during the match. His rap promo 2 weeks ago was awesome and reminded me of rapper Cena of 2003-2004. If he stops being a goody two shoes and reverts back to the Doctor of Thuganomics, I'd like him again.
I want to see John Cena get his ass kicked by a real wrestler (WWF)
lol this!
You know its funny. These days WWE is a lot like the NFL for me.
I'm only interested in it at the end of the season!
The card looks amazing! Some names I am completely unfamiliar with! (The World Heavy Weight Championship Match in particular I'm just wtf?)
Also since when has Teddy Long been back? I remember him as the GM of Smackdown FOREVER ago! I hope his team wins, after all me and Teddy Long are Birthday Buddies! (Both born on Sept. 15th, random fact I know by heart!)
Undertaker MUST win! I do love Triple H, but when it comes to Taker at Wrestlemania, its just a WWE fact that has to stay intact for my sanity!
CM Punk vs Jericho... I guess Jericho since he's WWF era, but I do remember CM Punk from being, "That one guy from ECW with the Killswitch Engaged theme music!"
Intercontinental Championship goes to Big Show for obvious reasons
Randy Orton vs Kane I'd say Kane because Nostalgia says so!
I'm expecting a Cena heel turn during the match. His rap promo 2 weeks ago was awesome and reminded me of rapper Cena of 2003-2004. If he stops being a goody two shoes and reverts back to the Doctor of Thuganomics, I'd like him again.
I'm all for the return of Thuganomics Cena! I loved Cena, until the whole damn show started to be centered around him! It got REALLY annoying, really fast!
Sadly I do actually own a John Cena CD! It's a little piece of Nostalgia I keep even though I don't like rap!
I also wouldn't disagree on Cena leaving WWE and focusing on acting in action movies. I still like The Marine and 12 Rounds!
Last Raw before WM tonight awww yeah. Wonder who will gain the "upper hand" tonight before their matches.
Well, The Miz is added to Team Laurinaitis and Christian was KO'd by CM Punk going crazy on him, opening a spot back up. I predict that last spot on team Johnny is....
ALBERTOOOOOOOOOO DEL RIIIIIIIIIIIIOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Lol nope, Drew McIntyre added to Team Johnny. Weak.
aaaand Booker T was just added as the last man for Team Teddy. Sweet.
67 hours away from the big night! I'm legitimately excited for a WWE PPV for once. I might try to watch this somewhere or go take a drink from the fresh spring water stream if you catch my drift.
I am only interested in John Cena vs Rock. Everything else is blah. Already saw Undertaker vs HHH last year and we all know that there is no way Taker is losing so there's simply no point.
Rumor sprouted up on Bleacher Report (which got info from PWinsider) that WWE is trying to get Brock Lesnar under contract before Sunday so he can return and make an appearance at WM.
sneak peek at the stage/entrance ramp
less than 4 hours away!! Wheeeeeeeeeee!!
So much Lesnar talk that I'm still skeptical he shows up but damn I'll go nuts if he does.
pre-show live stream is now up! On the pre-show will be the Rock/Cena mini-documentary and
Seriously
Rock vs Cena
Once in a life time
You bet it is I doubt we will see such a boring wrestlemania main even again (Shaemus vs Daniel Byan was better and it lasted something below 2 minutes ) :/
But I admit Cena troll trying to steal people elbow and getting rock bottomed to hell was funny as hell
But overly Awesome Event that Hell in a Cell was EPIC
I'll give this WM a solid 8.5/10, best since 23 and 24
Positives
- HIAC was off the charts, legitimate 5-star match because of the brutality and the storytelling
- Rock/Cena was epic atmosphere, very meh wrestling. Rock was winded after the first 10 minutes.
- Punk/Jericho while starting slow really picked up at the end and became awesome
- Kane/Orton is the underrated match of the night as it was very well done
- Rhodes/Show was averagely solid
- the Divas match was pretty solid going by Divas match standard
Neutral
- Team Teddy vs. Team Johnny was very blah
Negatives
- Very disappointed in the 18 second squash of a World Heavyweight Title match. Guess the Royal Rumble winner doesn't matter anymore, neither does the WHC.
- The mini-concerts before Rock/Cena were boring and the crowd wasn't into them
- The mini segments with Santino/Foley/Deadliest Catch and Brodus Clay (I love Clay btw) was just a lame, throwaway comedy skit segment but there's at least one of those every WM
You didn't actually think they were going to break the streak? Predictable winner aside, the match was amazing.
I actually did think this was the time I mean if Shawn and Triple H didn't who will ? That Sweet chin music and Pedigree combo was the moment I thought this is it But True the match was Epic
I dident think, i was hoping for it tho. Kind of tierd of this streak thing.
I'm guessing Undertaker will retire after WM29 next year. I can't imagine him going another 2 years. But then again, if he takes the entire year off like he did this year, his body might be able to make it.
As for his WM29 opponent in New York/New Jersey, I say it needs to be Cena now. They haven't fought since 2003 when it was Doctor of Thuganomics vs. American Badass Undertaker. That would be the next BIG match. If WWE can't bring in Brock Lesnar, then it should be Cena next.
I'd also be okay with a Randy Orton WM21 rematch since RKO is immensely over now than he was in 2005. That match at WM21 was pretty darn good too. *fondly remembers the Last Ride countered into an RKO and Orton trying his own Tombstone only to get reversed into the real Tombstone*
My dream Wrestlemania 29 card as it stands now Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. CM Punk (rumors have been swirling for past couple months that Austin would come out of retirement for 1 match against Punk) The Undertaker vs. John Cena Shawn Michaels vs. Triple H (rumors about this have ignited just recently, it would be HHH's retirement match) Brock Lesnar vs. The Rock (prevailing rumor now is that Brock is signed to a 1-year deal and he will return at this year's Summerslam) Money in the Bank Ladder Match returns (scrap the PPV for something else) Randy Orton vs. Daniel Bryan any match involving either Seth Rollins (Tyler Black), Antonio Cesaro (Claudio Castagnoli), or Kassius Ohno (Chris Hero) from FCW
I'm not surprised by any of the other matches but I am surprised by Cena losing. I didn't really see that one coming. I don't guess it mattered too much either way BUT it was sort of odd in the sense that Rock will just go off back to Hollywood and Cena will be left behind with a huge loss with little purpose. I dunno.
I'm excited for Raw tonight as the Raw right after WM usually has a big return, debut, or announcement.
Lord Tensai (formerly known as Albert/A-Train or Giant Bernard in Japan) might return? re-debut? tonight considering the vignettes shown about him the past 2 weeks. I remember the "Shave your back! Shave your back!" chants. Brock Lesnar might appear if the speculation and rumors about his 1-year contract are true Kharma might return for the Divas division Layla also is a return candidate for the Divas division
Maybe we'll get WM29's main event announced tonight like it was last year too lolol
I also made this to commemorate last night lol
The Rock is BACK for GOOD! (okay, he can't be back full-time, but every month) and HE WANTS THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP!
Epic opening promo to Raw tonight. *still crosses fingers for Brock Lesnar tonight*
A-Train, I mean Lord Tensai re-debuted and SQUASHED the living hell out of Alex Riley. Wasn't a big A-Train fan back in the day but he looked pretty decent here with devastating moves.
I'm so happy Brock is back. I was devestated back when he originally left in 2005. The man was incredible and shot to the top out of nowhere. I've read about his illness and surgeries so I hope that he is able to take care of himself and get in to "wrestling" shape. Wrestlers bodies are very different than an mma fighter.
So Raw is going be in Detroit on the 23rd for a 3-hour show and Lesnar is scheduled to appear. I should probably go.
It's Monday night, and the feeling's right, let's go Brock!
Wonder if we get any Extreme Rules matches made since that PPV is in 2 weeks?
Brock Lesnar vs. John Cena confirmed for Extreme Rules on the 29th
CM Punk defends the WWE Title vs. Mark Henry next week's Raw - No Disqualification, No Countouts
Tomorrow night is Live Smackdown Blast from the Past with a bunch of WWE Legends showing up like Sgt. Slaughter, Dusty Rhodes, Roddy Piper, Mean Gene Okerlund, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, and more.
