World of Tanks training group

How's it going tankers! I'm starting on a fresh account, but I need some help. I'm not very experienced at tanking. In fact, the stats on my last account are borderline shite. Therefore, it would be much appreciated if someone could help train me with each tank. In the process, we could turn it into a training group for other newcomers. What do you think?

I'd be more than willing to give you some tips and pointers, but it would have to be in September  as I am leaving for vacation on Thursday.

What particular tank lines are you looking to go down? I have a lot of experience with Soviet vehicles but at 15,000 some battles I can still provide some pointers for tanks I have not played.

Well, that's the thing. I'm actually planning on collecting all tanks in the game, researching them and selling them off to buy the next one. I don't go down just one tank line, I go down them all. I know it's a ton of work, but I'm quite happy to grind it out.

I would suggest picking one. Stats or Full tech tree completion.

You can probably get good stats no problem especially with few battles. Getting full tech tree completion is a hard while trying to maintain stats. Various reasons exist for that such as different patches, bad horrible tanks. tanks you won't enjoy or just straight hate.

Either way you should play with mods. Not sure if I can suggest or link stuff in these forums tho.

As for full tech tree completion. Germany first, Russia second, USA third. UK, France, China can be completed in any order but you might possibly leave some extra XP on these tanks for future tree expansions. Japan must be completed last because it is the most incomplete of the tech trees.

I suggest saving up a little bit of money for a lots of premium time and at least 1 premium tank. You can complete the tech trees without either but they both greatly speed of the process and you also wouldn't have to worry about grinding credits as much. You could unlock tier 10 and skip buying it just so you save money.

One problem you will face on full tech tree completion is do you plan to go directly to tier X or elite everything along the way? Going to tier X is the fastest. Eliting everything is more time consuming upfront but when going down different lines you might be able to skip different things like engines, guns, radios.

 

As for your training. I can post some suggestions and things to learn. Mods helping. But I, myself am considered bad.

I don't want to try to poach players from the WoT camp, but have you tried War Thunder? It's a little more forgiving for new players as it's more realistically modeled, so there is no spam the 20mm to win. I can vouch, because I played both, and WoT got on my nerves with only one respawn per level and the fact it takes a bleeding eternity (for real, the damned primarchs will be back in realspace before you hit max tier) to grind tanks.
