(even though Shepard was a marine and not an employee of Black Mesa, he was in half life opposing forces and counts in my book)

And Black Mesa. Because Gordon Freeman, duh. Plus it's pretty much their fault that the whole world got f**ked by the Combine. Which is actually pretty un-awesome. But still.

Im going with Aperture despite Black Mesa's 'organization'. They have a really nice facility in comparison to Black Mesa, modularly built test chambers that can be shifted around, an ever expanding army of security turrets, the portal gun of course, and someone in charge that will ensure science will continue to be done indefinitely. Heck, GLaDOS herself is an engineering marvel in both hardware and software. She may have a few quirks in her personality, but don't we all?
