Tbh, i hope theres a film with Godzilla vs Gamera, however, due to separate companies, i doubt that will happen, . Yet, i would put my bet on the King.

Well, it's kinda hard for me to debate the end.

 

 

I mean, I'm always a Godzilla fan, but I tend to pull for the underdog in these vids, and poor Gamera couldn't do it.

 

 

I'm happy with the result, but I would've been all right with either one winning. Wiz & Boomstick have a way of explaining things that leaves me satisfied (and LMAO). XD

Kinda of surprised how Gamera fared in the melee fight given Godzilla being 9 times heavier and having better strength feats than him, thus I expected Godzilla to murder him in melee but that wasn't what was shown.

Well, Death Battle likes to make a show of it, or else Superman & Shao Kahn would run rampant in their fights. XD

 

To be fair, speed & agility can count for something, and the Heisei Gamera was fairly powerful (it seems like the DB guys really just amalgamated all Godzilla & Gamera variants into one). I'm not too shocked Gamera was able to hold his own for a while, but I can totally see the result.

True, Gamera's mobility advantage can only do so much for him before Godzilla's strength and durability prevailed.

Pretty much. Godzilla has shown he can take one hell of a beating, and come back fighting with even more determination. Like the video said, Gamera will take a loss, take some time to analyze his opponent, and come back better prepared.

 

Godzilla is a little more straightforward with his methods, with some exceptions! They're both capable kaiju, BUT Gamera just doesn't have Godzilla's toughness; if you will.

With the descriptions I was actually leaning more towards the turtle... But when they started to go more in depth about it I was happy to know I was wrong lol. He isn't called "King of Monsters" because he is a pushover

Fan of both for many years, sadly, Gamera didn't stood a chance.

Also, I didn't like that they pretty much combined most of Godzilla's best and worst feats(like that horrible drop-kick) into one. That was pretty pointless because that would seem as the most invincible Godzilla, not all of them are the same.

 

However, they probably needed a big amount of feats to base on, since many of the most unique Godzillas haven't go that many feats.

 

I would have been happy if they used the GMK Godzilla (the only one who truly wants to destroy Japan), who's also the most dangerous and psychotic against 90s Gamera.

 

But I suppose GMK Godzi is pretty featless...

 

Anyways, Gamera did pretty good, but another problem I have is that thay made Godzilla much more clumsy, he's much better fighter than Gamera, yet Godzilla was getting his ass kicked.

 

Can't complain, though, these are the guys that tried to make a fight between a Koopa and a Goomba.
