Pinkie Pie / Pinkamena split episode

I've been wondering about something but also interested in seeing an episode in which Pinkie Pie and her alter personality Pinkamena somehow split into two different ponies. It could be by twilight causing the change or something along those lines or something within the episode causing such a change to occur.

Sure I understand that Pinkamena is Pinkie Pies' younger self when she grew up with her family and that side of her changed when she discovered her true meaning in life. However I think it would make for one interesting episode to see the two interact with one another somehow... Pinkamena does not have to be the "crazy, lunatic" a lot of people portray her to be of course. She could be more calm and maybe more pessimistic than Pinkie Pie but could be closer to how Maud Pie was but not to that extreme.

What would you say to an episode like that? Where somehow Pinkie Pie had her alter personality split into another pony? Would you like to see an episode like this happen?

Well, you don't have to nessicarily just split her personality, you could always do the ever cliche "evil clone" routine, but enhance it by making it a more sympathetic villain rather than just pinkie being evil.

I still think it would make it more interesting to make them into two entities though...

One thing is for sure we have not seen much of Pinkamena besides that one episode a long time ago.

But you could exchagerate the characteristics of Pinkamena if you did the evil clone idea. It would be alot easier to explore her characteristics and ideals when you can make them a hyperboly.

I thought it was a good idea, until I read this:

Too Many Pinkie Pies

I'm afraid the episode would resemble Too Many Pinkie Pies? Edited by Blobulle

I would actually be all for an episode like this. I've always found Pinkie's state of mind to be the most interesting of the mane 6; after all, those who smile the brightest are often the saddest people. It'd be nice to see what kind of "alter" personality/"ego" exists under that happy smile.

Fist of all Pinkamena IS Pinkie Pie..they are the same person, just different ends of the emotional spectrum.  :maud:

Anyways as far as this episode proposal, besides how such would happen(perhaps a spell from Twilight?) perhaps it wouldn't be such a bad idea. I most certainly wouldn't be against seeing Pinkamena again, her being along side her elation ego Pinkie Pie would be quite the site to see. Perhaps the premise of the episode would be to further drill into the audiences head that Pinkamena D. Pie is a representation of how different someone can be in either despair or in elation by splitting her up into the two extremes and having them side-by-side.  :maud:

It would also be a great opportunity to show the audience some more 'Party Of One' moments with Pinkamena with some added comical Pinkie Pie dialog,im sure such would make for quite marvelous and memorable moments. :maud:

True true I understand that bit that would be the main cause against this idea but I think it would make for a good episode though

As i said(or slightly suggested) perhaps Twilight casting a spell can be the cause of the split(intentional of not),or perhaps a 3rd party magical artifact or entity. :maud:

This way we can get around that glaring truth of Pinkamena D. Pie=Pinkie Pie/Pinkamena and allow her two extremes to openly exist along side each other at the same time.  :maud:
