I'm never really certain. But at this current point in time, my XY Dream Team so far consists of;
Banette
-Item: Banettite

-EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp. Atk, 4 Spd

-Moveset: Will-O-Wisp, Hex, Thunderbolt, Dazzling Gleam

Togekiss (Work in Progress)

-Item: (Undefined)
-EVs: (Undefined)

-Moveset: Follow Me, (Undefined)

Togekiss will pretty much run as a wall to protect Banette while it sets up it's Will-O-Wisp > Hex attacks.

In all seriousness though...

Aipom

Ninetales

Flygon

Sableye/Absol

Gardevoir/Gallade/Mawile

Leafeon

The next to last slots can be any of them, I'm really undecided.

I do know Aipom would ride around on my shoulder though. :3

My dream team actually consists of mostly first gen pokemon and doesn't even have a Sixth in it as I never added one in when I was a child.

It's the team I would always imagine myself in the anime with whenever I watched it when I was young and it consisted of:
Blastoise

Pigeot
Gengar/Haunter

Magneton/Magnezone

Feraligatr

I never found a pokemon that I attached to as well as these to fill the sixth slot, so its usually open for whatever. Right now, Im thinking a Steelix cause its another one I highly like, but it's definitely not the only one, so it may be swapped at any given time.

This team is also based off of campaign play, not competitive stats at all. Though, it wouldn't be too bad of one if set up right.

I actually have a Togekiss like that and it runs Follow Me, Morning Sun (Roost would possibly be better if it can learn it since it doesnt depend on the weather), Yawn (for a bit of extra support where it can) and Air Slash (For when it actually needs to attack instead of protect the other one).

I split its EV's in both defenses (128 each) and maxed HP for a nice spread of bulkiness. Works quite well, actually. You could also do the same with Togetic I think and even get the bonuses of Eviolite as well. Not sure how well it'll compare, but its usually a bit better from what ive seen. I also run a Lum Berry on it since status effects will effectively end any stall it can do and lessen its protection time.

Also, You'd have a better time with a sweeper that didnt have to set up every single new poke it faces. Something that can buff itself and then just go ham without the whole having to burn them first. I did a Drumanitan (Belly Drumming Darmanitan) and unless the enemy had multitarget moves it was pretty much gg while I 1-2 shot both poke's at the same time. Of course since your team isnt actually fully thought out yet, you can easily fix that or just keep it if you wish.

Tough one, but I think I got it:

Gallade (Psycho Cut, Close Combat, Thunderpunch, Gyro Ball)

Torterra (Synthesis, Frenzy Plant, Earthquake, Double Edge)

Metagross (Giga Impact, Avalanche, Zen Headbutt, Flash Cannon)

Garchomp (Aerial Ace, Crunch, Draco Meteor, Hyper Beam)

Rhyperior (Seismic Toss, Ancient Power, Magnitude, Self Destruct)

Gengar (Shadow Ball, Sucker Punch, Flamethrower, Curse)

I'm using Banette, as it's one of my favourite Pokemon, yet I'd never before really used it in play. Even though Will-O-Wisp > Hex can be a bit of a set up(although Mega-Banette has Prankster, making Will-O-Wisp a priority move), I think it's overall offensive structure makes it able to effectively attack a good chunk of types. Having Dazzling Gleam is great for pesky Dark-Types.

Your Togekiss really sounds quite good, actually. I do believe they can learn Roost, too. Yawn could work really well for removing Banette's need to set up. I don't know how well Eviolite compares, but last I checked, Togekiss was generally better. I'll have to look into that.

Those EVs also seem rather nice. And that use of the Lum Berry is something I didn't even think of.

All Meowths.  That's a lot of...  Kitty. <_<

I generally like to have as many types represented as possible, and I try to avoid redundancies.  But I also like to use what Pokemon I like / think are cool lol.  Going mostly by the latter:

Meowth or Persian (Meowth is my fave Pokemon, no I'm not joking), Golem or Krookodile (ground-type, represent), Tentacruel (named Cthulhu, of course), Gengar, Torchic (unevolved because cute) or Emboar or Charizard lol, and possibly a Raichu named "Franchise."

Or, again, the all Meowth team.  Though I guess there can be one Persian in it.

One Metagross, Two Salamence, Three Flygon, Four Aggron, Five Skarmory and Six Altaria. Yes I am a Pokemon Emerald/Gen 3 fanboy I mean come on, Metagross and Salamence are both from that Generation and are both pseudo Legendary Pokemon.  :P

To be honest, I never wanted a dream team. It sounds like fun, but I never liked using a team of my favourite Pokémon.

The closest I can get to an ideal team is when trying to make a team in which no Pokémon share the same weaknesses. I have done this before with my Black 2 team. My Black 2 team is Samurott, Sawk, Arcanine, Flygon, Clefable and Espeon. -3-

Dream team? I already have it!

Level 100 Pikachu- knows discharge, thunder, electro ball (I kept that move because it looks cool) and slam

Level 100 Delphox- knows Fire Blast, Fire Pledge, Psychic, Psyshock

Level 90 Azumarill -knows Hydro pump, bubblebeam (may be stupid, but it works) play rough and aqua ring

(I'm not so sure with this one) Level 90? Blastoise -knows bite, Aura sphere, hydro pump, and skull bash

Level 60  Xerneas -knows megahorn, moonblast, hyper beam, night slash

Level 87 Lucario -knows Bone rush, aura sphere, dragon pulse, (I don't remember it's been a while.)

These guys are basically my beat competitors and trainer in Pokémon X up Pokémon. I never really had a dream team, but if I did, this would be it.

I think Emboar's initial form, Tepig, is one of the funniest, cutest Pokemon lol.  Actually, I like all three of his forms; which is kind of unusual for me.  I nearly always choose the fire-type at the start of the game.  Mainly went with Froakie in Y because I knew I'd be getting a Charmander later. :)

I don't really know. I'm not into competitive Pokemon battling, and usually just use my favorite Pokemon despite the fact that they not be uber strong.

If I had to quickly throw together a team of 6, it'd probably consist of

  • Espeon
  • Heracross (Mega)
  • Flygon
  • Swampert
  • Dragonite
  • Mawile (Mega)

Tepig is sooo cute!

I did a huge project on this way back when, but I forget the specifics. I remember that I based it mostly off of type advantages, and I think I had an arcanine and a steelix in there somewhere. Dems were the dayz

Yeah and now a days I just beat people up with my level 100 Pikachu.

Well, my ideal/favorite team is currently:

- Vaporeon

- Umbreon

- Pigeot (it depends though, b/c i've got a lot of starting flying types)

- Machamp or Lucario (Both of them are my lucky charms)

- Palkia aka Estradus (serves as a excellent back-up)

- Mewtwo Y (Yes, that's b/c "she" has the Mewtwonite Y)
