Oh yes, this was released during Comicon but got buried under all the other news. So far the songs have that 'ear worm' quality. The more that comes out about RR ... the more excited I get.

What can I say about this latest song? I don't think it's overly imaginative, but neither is Battle of the Bands, and I do like the voice of Kazumi Evans. Part of me is super stoked to know that sirens are going to be incorporated into the mythos of MLP:FiM, but they're in an EQG film, and that means having them sing pop songs. I don't think the EQG series is as good as the show in terms of soundtracks either. On the other hand, if there were sirens in a modern Western setting, I'm sure they wouldn't be a cappella ballad singers, so maybe that isn't as bad a concept as it might seem, and I'm a little intrigued by this. Oh, who am I kidding? I wouldn't exactly call the entire concept for The Dazzlings respectful of Greek mythology. I guess I have decidedly mixed feelings, but I'm not expecting to get out of this movie any more than I got out of the first one, and it should provide at least a passable MLP fix while we wait for season 5.
