Hi everypony. I'm just wondering if there's anyone who plays NeverWinter. It's a quite good game with very cool graphics and gameplay but I quitted playing it because it really depends on how much money you spend on it. But anyway I wanna know if there's anypony who plays it :D

I did for a while, but the "pay-to-win" system finally got too frustrating for me. I much prefer subscription games (like WoW, but I haven't played that in a while either) where everyone is on equal footing, and you know how much you're going to spend ahead of time.

What class did you play? I was a Half-Orc Trickster Rogue.

That's why I quitted playing too :D I really would like to try WoW but my father didn't want to pay money to it (I'm only 15 year old) and I couldn't find any other MMORPG without a pay-to-win system.

I didn't remember which race I was (Orc, Human etc.) but I had a max lvl Control Wizard and a max lvl Trickster Rogue

hi everypony!!! i played neverwinter during the beta, and it was just so buggy i couldn't stand playing it anymore. if you liked neverwinter, check out tera. it has a similar combat system (since neverwinter ripped their system off from tera) hehe and the graphics are really good too. it's also free to play.

Never heard of it, in fact I liked NeverWinter's combat sistem but it's PVP sistem is really bad. A open world PVP or a PK system would be awesome. Anyway, I may check it out sometimes. And, NeverWinter is not free to play dude :D It's really pay-to-win and you can do nothing without spending real money.

I hate Pay to win it seems so dishonest, just charge me for all the content and move on.

I also hate day one off the disc DLC for the same reason, they just cut out what should be yours for more of your money.

One game you might want to try is Star Wars: The Old Republic. Instead of pay-to-win, you subscribe to different levels of access to the game. The most basic level is free, and I'll admit it does make it slower to level up. I'm not sure how much of a difference it makes at max lvl either.  But try it especially if you like the Star Wars universe. There's tons of lore and back story, and each class gets it's own unique story line. It's kind of like playing the main character in a Star Wars movie.  :D

I know about a RPG called NeverWinter with strange game mechanics which I never understood so I stopped playing (I stopped straight after the harbour attack when your main character ends up in some swamp). But it was a solo game, and you guys are obviously talking about something else and I don't know what :(

Ugh swtor is a terrible game if you don't pay for the full access. I used to be a subscriber before it went free to play. Also the combat is fairly stale compared to tera or wildstar.

I'll admit I never actually tried the free-to-play version, only the full subscription. But the story lines in games are always more important to me than combat and I hate PvP lol.

ah ok! well they sort of "force" you to subscribe (pun totally intended.) i only quit because i ran out of content to do, then when they released the ftp, and all the new raids i went back to check it out. they jacked all my credits and made it to where i couldn't take off my raid gear. (because if i wanted to reequip any purples i had to subscribe.) among many many other weird little things, like being unable to hide my head slot. i was totally planning on resubbing but all that garbage just made me  mad so i quit for good lol. i agree the voice acting and the individual class stories are really really cool but overall there's better games in my opinion. i wish there was a mlp mmo lol.

That's what I dream. Legends of Equestria is our only hope :P

NeverWinter has a little tutorial like 10 minutes, and it is solo. Once you finish it (After killing the boss) it teleports you to the main town where you can see the other players :D

So guys I heard a disgusting new about NeverWinter and I wanted to inform you: A new race (Dragonborn) added to NeverWinter. It's a very OP race, but the only way to play as this race is to buy a special pack called Dragonborn Legend Pack. And it's like $70. I think you understood why I said this new is disgusting.

No, I was talking about an actual game, lol

Once you create your character tutorial automatically begins, but if that's not you meant then I have no idea

It's not what I meant.  You are talking about Neverwinter, which is an MMORPG (by the looks of it). But, there is another NeverWinter game (set in the same Universe) which is a solo game and since your thread did not specifically mention which one you were talking about, I got a bit confused.
