Due to my recent frustration with nostalgiatards and 90s kids, I'm curious as to how many of you are fans of modern TV/Web animation. Here are some of my favorites:

Invader Zim

Adventure Time

Wander Over Yander

Gravity Falls

Avatar: The Last Airbender

Rick and Morty

Superjail

Aqua Teen hunger Force

Axe Cop

Steven Universe

Bee and Puppycat

Ruby Gloom

MLP:FiM (duh)

I actually have quite a few favorite cartoons made after the 90s, since unlike half the forums, I didn't grow up in the 90s (born in 98). So time to list

1. MLP: Fim

2. Billy and Mandy

3. KND

4. early Fairly oddparents

5. Jimmy Neutron

6. Danny Phantom

7. Dave the Barbarian

8. Gravity Falls

9 Wander over Yonder

10. Dan Vs.

11. the Avatar series

12. Foster's home for imaginary friends

8. Chowder (yeah I'm probably gonna get some hate for some cartoons I like since they aren't popular by the whole group consensus)

9. Regular Show

10. The Amazing World of Gumball'

11. Clarence

12. Steven Universe

This is my list. I don't like to be a simple nostalgia blind person who judges shows based off of what decade they came out in since that's WAY too common on the internet.

How could I forget to mention Teen Titans?

You might be wondering why I didn't mention Adventure Time? I consider it to be pretty overrated. Not a bad show, just not something I'd watch. Also, I find Regular Show better.

Dude, you got to work on Rick and Morty? It sucks that you're not credited, but that's still pretty awesome regardless. Which episode(s) did you work on and what part of it?

I believe episodes 6-11 were what I worked on.  I did Effects Builds; which means getting key drawings of a specific effect (a waterfall, an explosion, a dust cloud, etc.) from the design team and breaking down the design into multiple pieces and then animating them.  One specific example I can remember, in the episode Rixty Minutes with the interdimensonal TV, there's a tornado during the "Two Brothers" show.  I animated that tornado.

I'm uncredited because I was brought in late to help with the crunch time workload (while my job was primarily effects, I did sporadically do a few other things).

Very cool! Actually, do you mind if I send you a PM? I have an interest in animation and I'd love to be able to chat with someone who has experience with it.

Okay then

Avatar, i watched a few episodes, but never sparked an interest for me.   Zim and Falls.............saw an episode and immediately changed the channel.  Yet, that's just my view on the cartoons these days.  (I grew up watching a lot of 80's and 90's shows, and felt they had more of a story than today's cartoons)
