i have been looking for a stepping stone or something that i loved that i could start my myself from, something that i understood and felt passion for and mlp is just that very thing.

thou have liked mlp for few months i have only started to get into the fandom the last few weeks......... but really do you have any advice for a new one joining the herd what should i know as a new brony

Welcome and Greetings, @ponyolee. I hope you enjoy your stay with us here on the MLP Forums. As for your question, if you have any talents like drawing, computer animation, or you could write your own fan-fics. There is allot you can do. you just need to fins something that you can do that can work with any existing talents of your's.  :)

BTW, here is a fan club where you can express your love for your fav pony. Rarity Fan Club

Hi there!

Welcome to the forums :)

Hehe..

Don't worry. Finding your way around here is fairly easy. Everyone here is friendly, too.

Sadist the Wanderer is right! If you have a talent or something you love doing that you can create your own MLP Fandom, you'll kick it off. I'm an artist my self and do things for mlp. To give an idea, I do crossovers of other shows/movie (and such) or fan art of main characters. I also do commission for fellow ponies here. So if you have any question about that i can help, or if you like to write, make music, animate, ect. we can direct you to a fellow pony that does those, that can help. :)

hmmm, i believe if you're confident in what you do/say i'd say go for it. On the other hand if there is a big discussion/argument going on and you are not Confident in what is going on or what to say, while being respectful. I'd stay away from that kind of thing, but other than those i don't see any issue with just being yourself and starting up conversations. Or even showing off some of your work if you have any. We all start somewhere, and from what i've seen here the people here are really supportive and love to boost confidence and can help critique if wanted.
