I wouldn't mind playing a mlp game if it was something similar to Mario bros or some sort of quest game I would Manley expect it to be some sort of quest game or something but that's just my opinion

Don't comment go to the other one

Depends on what you mean by "Quest" and "Adventure" As for me I vote no for Nintendo making it because I don't like Nintendo lol. I'd want Sony to do it instead and have an RPG or Beat-Em Up game of it with lots of magic and combo attacks like Kingdom Hearts or Tales of Graces. And I'd want more playable characters than just the mane 6. And a big epic super attack when your meter or whatever is full.

EDIT: Then again it would depend on if Nintendo made the game easy or hard. Most games made by Nintendo are way too hard for me.

I wouldn't mind it if it was anything like animal crossing or something. Though, I've never played games like that... I have played Disney Magical World before. I think it would be fun if they allowed you to create your own pony and take on different quests or something for the Mane 6.

Would love an RPG Beat-Em UP.

For example:

Moveset for Twilight Sparkle:

Square: Basic Back Hoof attack
Square, Square: Double Kick Combo
Square, Square, Square: Kick Combo with a double hoof buck at the end

Triangle: Small magic laser beam from Horn.
Up, Down Left and Right + Triangle: Customizable a different elemental spell attack can be assigned to these spaces.
Circle: Grapple Attack
X: Jump
X,X: Double Jump

R1: Lock On
L1: Block/Forcefield

R2: Switch Targets

L2: Igniton/Limit/Supermove: Starswirl The Bearded's Fury

A powerful magical energy wave blast that does massive damage to bosses and kills all enemies on screen that it hits. Activate only when special move gauge is full. Build energy by defeating enemies.

That would be AMAZING, hell yeah I'd play it, Nintendo da best :D :D :D

An adventure game'd be cool. Make it an RPG adventure done by Inteligent Systems or Monolith Soft and it would be golden.

Too bad it'd realistically never happen tho...

It would obviously depend on the genre. Any RPG with a turn-based battle system is an instant turn-off for me, and life simulation just isn't my thing despite spending countless hours with Animal Crossing in the past. I can imagine it having an exploration aspect similar to Zelda's, but that's really all I could think of when it comes to Nintendo creating it. The rest, they would have to surprise me.

First, my boring, realistic answer:

I believe the likelihood of Nintendo, Sony, or Microsoft personally developing an MLP game is about zero lol.  Sure, there may well be an MLP:FIM game made by a third party or indie developer that releases to Nintendo hardware, but I don't foresee Nintendo making said game themselves.  WayForward has actually expressed interest in making an FIM game (and WayForward is AWESOME), but I don't know if anything will ever come of that.

Second, my answer where I suspend disbelief lol:

Yes I would play a Nintendo-developed MLP:FIM game.  I've played Nintendo games since I was maybe five, and I'm approaching thirty-two. xD  Nintendo, in my opinion, makes great and fun games with memorable characters; I don't see how MLP + Nintendo could be a bad combo.  Though there are several departments / subsidiaries that make up Nintendo, and you'd likely get a different product depending on which one developed it.  If Nintendo DID pursue something like this, I can kinda see Retro being handed the reins.  So it would either be a platformer or a pseudo first person shooter. xD  Idunno lol.

My hopes is that if Nintendo does make a Mlp game, they go the JRPG route, with some minor platforming elements. FiM as a universe really lends itself more to a 3rd person adventure game, with far flung locals and amazing creatures. Seeing it forced into the realms of a platformer or a first person shooter would just be a waste in my opinion, as it would not fully utilize the amazing universe that FiM has behind it. If I could have my dream game, it would be a 3rd person open world role playing game, similar in style to the fable series, with all locations from the show being open to exploration, and some NPC interactions with canon characters and events.

what I mean by quest if some one like princess celestial wanted to send them to do something and by adventure I mean they go and explore the place if this seems confusing it because my head hurts

I had been thinking about this the other day and I was thinking that as a way to show the "Magic of Friendship" the game should heavily emphasize online co-op.

It seemed pretty awesome but then I realized "Online interactions are not rated by the ESRB".  :(

And in-game enemies would include:

Changelings, Timberwolves, Windigos, Chimaeras, Well basically alot of the same stuff as Ponyvania Order of Equestria but with different game mechanics.

Oh and for the Bosses:

Level 1: Boss: Nightmare Moon

Level 2: Boss: Discord

Level 3: Boss: Queen Chrysalis

Level 4: Boss: King Sombra

Level 5: Boss: Trixie with Alicorn Amulet

Final Boss: Lord Tirek

Based on what the game's storymode would be.

Oh and:

Bonus Level: The Human World. Boss: Demon Sunset Shimmer

Just for the heck of it.

technically speaking, Nintendo did already make a MLP game. However, it was a G3 game, I think, about Pinkie Pie.

However, if they did make a G4 MLP game, I probably wouldn't play it. Not because I wouldn't want to or because I think they couldn't pull it off and it would be a waste of money, but because I can't.

You see, currently the closest thing I have to a XBox One is a PS2. And the closest thing I have to a 3DS is a DS lite. I cannot afford another Nintendo DS, nor do I have a Wii, and I have no doubt in my mind that Nintendo will easily forget about the DS lite and focus on just 3DS games now.

By the way, I got these game mechanics ideas from Bleach: Soul Resurreccion, Dynasty Warriors and Hyrule Warriors. Glad you guys like them! :)

Moveset for Queen Chrysalis:

Square: Basic Horn Attack
Square, Square: Double Horn Combo
Square, Square, Square: Horn Combo with an impaling stab at the end

Triangle: Green magic energy balls. Tap repeatedly to fire multiples one or hold to charge for one big ones.
Up, Down Left and Right + Triangle: Hmmm not sure...But maybe one of them could involve transforming into the targeted enemy or boss and gaining access to their moveset briefly.

Circle: Grapple Attack Love Drain: Grabs the targeted enemy and drains their HP and restores your HP as you hold the button

X: Jump
X,X: Double Jump and hold to fly

R1: Lock On
L1: Block/Forcefield

R2: Switch Targets

L2: Ignition/Limit/Supermove: Wrath of The Changeling Queen.

A green magic bolt fired from the horn. The move she used to defeat Princess Celestia in the show. Kills all normal enemies it hits and does good damage to bosses.

Nightmare Moon's moveset:

Square: Weak dark magic blast attack. Costs no energy to use.
Square, Square: Double Dark Magic Blast Costs no energy to use.
Square, Square, Square: Triple Dark Magic Blast Costs no energy to use.

Triangle: A dark magic lightning bolt fired from the horn. Tap for multiple blasts. Can be charged for more power.
Up, Down Left and Right + Triangle: Customizable a different dark magic spell attack can be assigned to these spaces. Maybe stuff simialr to the Pokemon called Darkrai.

Circle: Grapple Attack: Impale
X: Jump
X,X: Double Jump and hold to fly

R1: Lock On
L1: Block/Forcefield

R2: Switch Targets

L2: Ignition/Limit/Supermove: Eternal Nightmare

A powerful dark magic explosive wave that does massive damage to bosses and kills all normal enemies on screen. Sometimes inflicting a paralysis ailment on some enemies.

Of course I'd play it. Nintendo and My Little Pony are my two favorite things. ( I think. ) This would be a dream come true. :D

I'm gonna be one of those people in the minority voting for a fighting game. I'm just a big fan of the fighting game genre and like competitive gaming.
