I was trying to remember when was the last time i was around somepony, anypony, i turned my head as the wall came down revealing the iron bars.

I stood and moved to the bars. As i looked around i noticed a creature, in another cage, it looks like a monkey, i decide to talk to it.....

Hay!

I started waving trying to get its attention.

Hay can you understand me?

Humbug Chasity Lime woke up, her legs and hooves ached from the approximate twenty-four hour slumber. The last thing she remembered was partying too hard and ending up on the floor passed out. She felt, heard and smelt an indistinguishable background. She was popular with the stallions so she was used to waking up in strange places.

@,@@Illiad Easle,

"Keep it quiet you stallions! I'm trying to wake up!" The sleeping green mare opened her eyes to iron bars. "What the...?"

I slowly stalked down the dirt hallway, my hooves kicking up small plumes of dust as I moved into an arena. After looking up at the silent crowd, I made my way over to a weapons rack, levitating my preferred twin cutlasses into my front hooves.  I mentally turned on the device implanted in my back and heaved myself upwards, transforming myself from a quadruped stance into a bipedal one. Swinging the two swords back and forth, I readied myself for my opponent by turning to face the gate on the opposite side of the arena.

The huge wooden gate slowly moved upwards, but something was wrong. As the heavy wood moved, it let out a metallic screech, as if it was metal on metal. My dreamscape faded, and I was faced with my harsh reality once again.

I was imprisoned, trapped by four blank metal walls that seemed to close in on me day after day.

This however, was completely new to me. My four walls slowly slid upwards, revealing closely-spaced metal bars. I quickly shut my eyes as they were intruded upon by harsh sunlight that was far brighter than the pony-made light that filled my room.

After giving myself a moment to adjust, I opened my eyes again and looked around. A huge number of other inmates like myself stood trapped in other cells, with no freedom...

I tried to move, to go to interact with other life in what seemed like years, but the way I was chained left no movement. I was spread eagle on the wall, each hoof securely fasted by metal cuffs. My spine felt fused to the wall as well, as the prison guards had obviously tried to neutralize my spinal enhancement.

Soon, a cacophony of voices filled the air, as prisoners tried to communicate with the others. Through the wave of noise, I felt a familiar pony speaking.

"Illiad...?"

Ariel didn't know how long she had been trapped in this void. She still remembered how she ended up here... well, kind of. It was during a mental break, an episode of psychosis. Now, she typically still had a vague sense of self in these episodes - she could somewhat recall what had happened - but this time, she had ended up blacking out completely for some reason.

Then when she came to, she was in nothingness. Four walls, ceiling and floor too, of sheer blackness surrounded her. At first she panicked, crying and begging and screaming for someone to help her until she lost her voice. Being alone terrified her. The only contact she ever had with another living being in this place was that with those who tested on her; and even then, it was only for a few brief moments before she would fall asleep.

But as time went on (or at least, the illusion of it), the young unicorn mare slowly resigned herself to her fate. Soon she couldn't tell the days from weeks or even months. She laid numbly in her prison, simply waiting for something to happen. Waiting for the day she would be freed, a day she felt would never come.

Then, the darkness suddenly fell away. Ariel sat up, startled as the walls of black were replaced with iron bars. What came as even further surprise to her was the other ponies (and one strange-looking creature among them) that apparently resided here. She had thought that she was alone here, she'd been so isolated.

Yet, were they actually there? Was this all some strange hallucination, or a dream? She approached the bars of her cage, staring wide-eyed at the others.

"H-Hello?!" she called out to them. "Are... Are you real?"

The exhaustion from Humbug's eyes receded and she became aware of her situation. Not only was she angry, she was down right pissed. Not again She thought. The bars of steel seemed strong enough to hold her but she tried to break it anyways.

@,

"Hey pony! PONY! I don't know why I'm here but you've made a huge mistake. A huge one! Now let me out before I break out my self and shatter you spinal cord." The green hooded figure was unresponsive. "Didn't hear me, eh?"

Behind her she had found the Megaphone from the night of question. She turned on the megaphone with disregard of the echoes and other ponies. "CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? LET ME OUT!"

The sound resonated in packets

@@Illiad Easle,

Ariel kept her gaze fixed on this other pony as he approached the bars separating them. Her eyes - or rather, eye, for only one was visible (the other hidden behind her mane) - betrayed the fear that clenched her heart. This new development, with virtually a new environment and other ponies to interact with, was more than a little unsettling to her.

Yet, somehow... she wasn't afraid. Just like that, the fear was gone, as if it were pulled out of her, and replaced with another feeling. For all the time she'd been here, the black walls had never fallen like that. So why now? Perhaps it was a sign somehow? Maybe, just maybe, it was a good sign. A sign for what, she didn't know, but surely she could dare to have some hope now.

She then looked to the other pony again, her gaze having wandered briefly, and she noticed that he seemed different now in a way. He looked far more afraid than she. "H-Hey... I can't say I know exactly what's going, on, but... M-Maybe this is a good thing somehow? They're... letting us see each other now, when it was just loneliness before... And I-"

@@MisterRe,

The unicorn mare fell over on her side with a tiny startled squeal as another mare's voice boomed through the area, her eardrums all but blown. Ariel laid there dazed, and would probably stay that way for a few minutes or so until she recovered from the assault on her ears.

(OOC: ... her name is Timeshift, not Time Shield. Her weapon is a 'time' shield that controls her time magic. Just wanted to clarify.)

Timeshift grunted in her cage as she noticed the black wall retreating. She sighed and huffed. She'd been in this facility for exactly 5 years today, and everything was just as gloomy as it was before. She somehow had a gift for keeping time.. and seeing things, anyway. A few of her visions had showed her that she was getting knocked out and then brought somewhere, but before she had been able to deduce just where they were taking her or the strange figure's motives or looks, her vision stopped. Unluckily the guards had caught on just when she was ten seconds or so from seeing what was going on and now she had these black gloves on that prevented her from having any more visions.

She groggily walked up to the bars of her cage. A loud noise screeched across the cell via a microphone, but she just regarded it impassibly as it passed by her. She stood up straight, adjusted her reading glasses and started scanning her surroundings.

"...well, this is interesting. I have roommates. Lovely." Timeshift muttered. She started to use her aching magic to attempt to shift time, but of course, something was blocking her. Stupid idea anyway. She might have gone into overdrive again. That didn't end well. She used her normal and patetically weak magic to test the bars, but they wouldn't budge. She gave up and started to scan her surroundings with her eyes, taking note inside her head and looking for possible weaknesses and exits, and began to deduce why the black wall was gone. She passivly took note of her other captives and a weird creature.

"Alright, folks," Time began in a voice that demanded attention. "Since we can all talk to one another, let's do that and introduce ourselves to the party, shall we? I'm Timeshift, age... whatever, and i'm a unicorn. My special talent is time magic. Does anybody wish to also man up and introduce themselves and not stay silent like a coward?"

She shook her head as if to shake out the headache starting to form, before one ear flicked up to the sound of another voice.

She listened to the other mare speak, that authoritative tone commanding Ariel's attention. Her gaze briefly moved to the stallion that had first approached her as he introduced himself as Illiad. So, Timeshift and Illiad... The young mare supposed she should introduce herself as well.
