How do you know Frank Welker voiced the changelings?

Hi, I'm wondering where's the official info which says that the VA Frank Welker voiced the changelings as many claim. I tried looking for info about him and no one credits him as such

Wait, what? I didn't know Frank f**king Welker voiced a changeling! WHY they didn't give him an actual villain to voice? THAT would be truly awesome.

I doubt that this is true, you can't really trust Wikipedia as there's no citation on it. Factually speaking, it's unlikely seeing how the overwhelming majority of MLP's voice actors are from Vancouver's talent pool, and Tara Strong is the only LA-based voice actress, which in itself creates a logistical problem for the recording of the show. I think Frank Welker would come at a higher price to the staff of MLP than would be normal for the Vancouver regulars, and I don't think they would really go through the effort of getting him for such a relatively small bit part in comparison to other roles on the show that have gone to more famous actors.

 

IMDb does not show MLP as being on his resume, neither does Behind the Voice Actors, so I'd take any mention like this with a grain of salt.

Exactly, all the sources that claim Frank Welker voiced the changelings are wikis, which can easily be edited by guys with too much free time in their hands, but not official sources have a word of it, thus questioning the veracity of it

Frank Welker is a master at inhuman vocal noises, but MLP is not listed among his credits on IMDB and, except for Tara Strong, the directors tend to draw from voice actors in Vancouver.

 

But dayum, he'd have made a menacing King Sombra! Imagine him with Megatron's voice!
