Who stays up past 3 am?

The other day I stayed up until 3:30am watching Game Grumps. Then I crashed and when I woke up it was awful. I can't really pull all nighters like I use to. I'm usually asleep by one am. That's my limit.

My current sleep schedule consists of staying past 3am, but only because I haven't found a job yet and I drink a lot of coffee and tea (caffeinated). I tend to stay up 15-20 hours and sleep at least 12 hours the next day.

I do this a lot.  Over the past several years it has been because of my work schedules.  Currently, my shift ends at 2:30, I get home around 2:45, and it easily takes me more than 15 minutes to: put things away, get undressed, shower, get dressed for bed, eat some thing, [iNSERT RANDOM THING], and go to bed.

Following my work schedule (which I worked last night) I am currently up past what equates to my 3 am. lol

The only time I was on a normal schedule and would stay up that late by will would be the summer right after I graduated from high school. I actually hate myself for it, because it would cause me to sleep in until like 2 PM. That summer was the last time I got to spend a week at my grandparents' house, and I did that routine of staying up late and waking up at 2 PM while I was there. I didn't know any better, that things would change so much after that summer, but it still doesn't excuse it.

...Can you please tell me what this test is?

If your doctor thinks you have narcolepsy, he or she will likely suggest that you see a sleep specialist. This specialist may advise you to have sleep studies to find out more about your condition.

Sleep studies usually are done at a sleep center. Doctors use the results from two tests to diagnose narcolepsy. These tests are a polysomnogram (PSG) and a multiple sleep latency test (MSLT).

i took it from a website because it had long words i couldent spell

The only reason I ever stay up that late is insomnia, fear and/or stress.

Though the regular time I retire to bed is 1:00 AM on the weekend, that's pretty much my barrier. I'd normally pass out in my chair if I stayed up 30 minutes longer; sometimes I fall asleep earlier than that.

During the work week I'm up till 10:30, ad I have to wake up at 5:30. On the weekend I'll stay up till 1:30 typically, and get up around 9:30. I suffer from anemia and insomnia, therefor sleep is vital for me.
