If it could be anywhere from 0 - 60 degrees all year, I wouldn't be mad at all. Unfortunately for me, I live in Oklahoma. It's freaking late October and it's going to be 90 degrees this weekend. Wtf?

I live in Texas. It's hot here all year round.

But, me personally; I prefer Spring season.

60-70 Degree Days. I love thunderstorms, specially the severe ones. I always look forward to Spring because it's storm season/ tornado season.

I chase storms, but mostly by radar. A Piece of my About me page:

=====================================================

I'm an on going storm chaser. I've studied Meteorology for almost 6 years, on and off so there are key things I'm missing. I'm a trained National Weather Service SKYWARN Storm Spotter. I've been chasing for 2 years. I've witnessed the most intense and insane weather events in history. I mostly chase storms by a screen. Which is my Dopplar Radar system; which consists of: GRLevel3, GR2 Analyst, and Radarscope. I'm a Lead/Head Radar Technician for a team called: Southern Style Storm Chasing. (SSSC). I've been with the team for almost 2 years. My goal in Meteorology is to help in the warning process.

Yeah. Can check out my twitter here: https://twitter.com/txstormchase

Other than that. Texas can be a drag with weather sometimes, but most of the time during spring; the thunderstorms don't disappoint.

Topics like these will get me to talk like all day. XD :)

I'll be quiet now.

I live in Israel, a country notorious for it's hot, harsh weather, especially it's long summers. I love the rain and the winter, i love cold weather in general; a pity it doesn't come too often to these parts.

I hate the local climate from where I live. Everything is hot hot hot all the year round x_x

Personally I'm all for windy, cool weather that's not too humid. Perfect weather to snuggle in pillow fortress and read cat jokes over the internet

I like cool weather the most. :) I also like rain quite a lot as it helps me to feel very relaxed. My favorite season is Autumn, since it's often cool and rainy and it gets so pretty where I live.

I can't stand any temperature above the 80s. :eww:

It's spring from where I live right now, and the weather is crazy. One day, it'll be a scorching hot day, and at other days, it'll be really rainy. Most days in spring are hot, however.

I come from not only the driest state of Australia, but one of the driest places on the planet. It doesn't help that in summer, there is not a day when it rains. So because of that, it's almost some kind of miracle when rain comes.

Even if I enjoy rain every once in a while, I don't like it all that much. My preference for weather is something cool, mild and cloudy. My favourite season is autumn, as it's a season that kind of matches my preference.

I like cool weather, 50-60 Fahrenheit, but Texas is too stubborn to even stay in that temperature range IN OCTOBER !!!

It's warm here, I would say, and I guess I like stormy weather. The weather in my town isn't very exciting. I like winter.

Bleh.

Agreed, with all of it!

Living in Oklahoma I've seen it hit 85 degrees in the middle of winter so I'm really not too surprised, but it's still really dumb. I guess it's making up for those truthfully once in a blue moon (as in I've never seen it happen before) days below 70 degrees in July.

That's right, it feels more like summer in late October than it did some days in the summer. >.>

I'm so ready for chilly weather. Enough of this!

Well living in Britain I'm used to cold and wet weather. In my area it's usually on the cold side, however when it gets hot it's usually in the form of a heat wave. And currently it's autumn but it feels like winter outside. But my overall preferred season is winter, although I live in it pretty much all the time I prefer it because when it's hot you're boiling and there's nothing you can do about it, when it's cold(at least in my case)it's very easy to warm yourself up.

I live in Southern California and t he weather here is nice most of the time, it tends to usually be around 65-80 farenheit which I am happy with. I used to not mind when it gets cold, I tended to resist it far better than most people where I live until I started getting knee problems. Now because of that my knee often acts up when it does get cold and damp which gives me another reason to be glad I live where I do.

I shall now answer my own questions.

I live in Iowa and here, we have all types of weather but is heavily influenced by the season. If it's summer, it can get really damn hot. If it's winter, it can get really damn cold. In spring and autumn, it varies I guess. Though some days it's different, such as having a cool and windy day in the summer. It's too hot right now, in autumn. >:C

I prefer weather in the middle and cooler weather. 40-60 Fahrenheit is what I like best, but it being cooler than 40 is fine by me. I also hate hot weather. It's so hard to cool down. You can do almost anything and it would still be easy to wake up in a puddle of sweat.  :eww:

For the types of weather, I like cloudy days, rainy days, days when it snows, and sunny days are okay as long as it isn't too hot. I especially like cloudy days, there's something about the darkness and gloominess in cloudy days that appeals to me.

Anyway, I shall now answer the question of the topic itself.

My favorite type of weather is probably temperatures in the 40s/low 50s (Fahrenheit) with a fully cloudy sky, wind, and some mist thrown in.

It feels the best with that slight chill to the air, and the beautiful atmosphere (especially during the late autumn when the trees' colors are the prettiest).

Of course, I also love winter weather... Snow, sleet, freezing rain. Just as long as the power doesn't go out.

The weather in seattle:

Autumn: Cold, wet, and miserable

Winter: Cold, wet, and miserable

Spring: Cold, wet, and miserable

Summer: Two weeks of sun, then back to cold, wet, and miserable. Except this time there are mosquitos!

In Ohio here, I typically only pay attention to the weather when it's colder, that's usually the only time I like going outside as well. Basically, I can stand only cold weather and I absolutely despise warmer weather. Anything below 40 degrees Fahrenheit will do for me.

Weather-wise, I absolutely love foggy, cloudy, snowy, rainy, and days with thunderstorms. I've always found the rain to be most calming and I actually enjoy standing out in the rain (good way to get sick even though I never get sick from it).  Winter is easily the best season, with Autumn/Spring coming next, and last to be Summer.

In short, if it's hot out, I'm probably not in a good mood.

  • 2 weeks later...

I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and the weather varies depending on what part of the area you live in. in San Francisco and Daly City, where it's near the ocean, the weather is mild for most of the year except the winter, where it can get cold. It also gets very foggy, with the fog covering the Golden Gate Bridge. However, in areas such as Concord, Walnut Creek, Pleasanton, Santa Rosa, and the Silicon Valley, it gets hella hot in the summer, and even late spring and early fall, and cold in the winter. What all areas in the Bay have in common is that there's little to no rain. I prefer weather that's balanced in a way that an area gets enough rain and doesn't get too hot or too cold in the summer or winter.
