That creepy beard guy is Ruel (One of my favorite characters, because he reminds of someone from Avatar the last Airbender). Also, those character designs are from season 2...Netflix only has season 1...

Do they look different in season one. I like the girl with the elf ears, and the younger girl with the flower in her hair. They just look adorable. I'm guessing that the guy on the left is flower girl's brother. They look like each other.

Binged over the course of two weekends.

I'll be the first to tell you that this series has problems--characters, pacing, and continuity come immediately to mind.

But, it's just having so much fun (you can tell that the creators had a blast making this), that you usually end up having fun along with it.

I also like that it has some seriously amazing action sequences and that it's not afraid to end on bittersweet notes. In season 2 and the special it often feels like a more mature show trying to fit inside a kid show's skin.

 

Thinking of giving the MMO a shot, though I've heard some negative things about it.
