Hello from a really REALLY new fan

Greetings everyone. I am really new to this fandom. I'm talking straight from the womb newborn. Only a few hours ago, I had no love for the brony culture. I will admit that. I was a hater. Then I watched this documentary called "Bronies: The Extremely Unexpected Adult Fans of My Little Pony" and it changed my entire perspective.

 

I never knew how awesome this fandom was in its creativity, passion, and kindness toward each other and those in need. It was these things that made me stop and go "Okay, I want to be a part of this."

 

So I just finished watching the first two episodes about fifteen minutes ago. That and the song "A Long Way From Equestria" (which was awesome, by the way) are the extent of my experience. I know nothing, have seen almost nothing, and am probably way out of my league coming here. That's one of the reasons I'm not worried about being restricted from the debate area. What do I have to debate? I have to actually know what I'm talking about before I can debate it, haha! Still, I like the culture, I like the music, I like the art, and I really enjoyed the little bit of the series that I've seen. I want to make friends and I want to learn.

 

Hopefully I didn't jump the gun on this one.
