STORY:

 

A group of unlikely people from all across Equestria are gathered together under one place, which happens to be owned by an upcoming fashion designer of all things. A mysterious person has gathered them together to collect a bunch of sacred power gems that history has forgotten about.

 

If they collect all the gems, they will be rewarded handsomely.

If they do nothing, the fate of Equestria could be at risk.

 

They all come from different walks of life, and they have no reason to be friends or to get along. Each of them has a different story to tell. Each of them comes from lives that ponies can only read about. Most of them are probably seen as rejects or enemies to all pony kind....

 

But their stories will each be explored one by one as they hunt for these mystery gems. They will see past the rumors and the history of their people. They will see each other for who they really are. They will become irreplaceable friends, and they'll complete the mission together.

 

...Also, that fashion-forward pony will be their leader. Because he says so, that's why.

 

TONE:

 

The over all tone of this story will be light-hearted to serious. It won't ever be dark or grim dark. To put it simply, this RP will have the same tone as the MLP:FiM show. There will be serious moments, and some battles, but the slower moments where characters learn more about each other is where it's all at.

 

That being said, no extremely villainous characters, please. No assassins, no super villains, etc.

 

It will be plot-driven for the most part, but each character will have a moment to shine. This RP was designed so that, eventually, we explore the various worlds and lives of each fan characters submitted. The way I see it, we each have a story to tell, and each story can be fun if we keep our minds open to it.

KEEP IN MIND 2 THINGS!

 

First all, sign-ups and participation are mandatory. Don't sign-up unless you plan to participate. I am trying to avoid people who sign-up but never participate, and likewise I'm trying to discourage people from randomly participating without signing-up first.

 

Second of all, I am NOT LOOKING FOR REGULAR PONY CHARACTERS, but feel free to submit any characters you think are unique or interesting regardless of race/species! I've got regular ponies covered with my character. I am mostly looking for fan characters of many different races. SOME pony variant characters are allowed.

 

Griffon, Changeling, Dragon, etc.

I only need 1 of each.

 

Also, be willing to RP as multiple characters. If your character's a Changeling, then it's assumed he/she comes from a colony of Changelings. If your character's a Griffon, then it's assumed he/she comes from a flock or family of Griffons. See the Sign-Up section for more info.

Sign-ups are officially closed. This RP is no longer active. However, I am looking into a possible Episode II, Reboot, or maybe some 1x1 with anyone interest.

ATTENTION, EVERYONE!!!   I just put up the official notice. We're putting this RP on a temporary pause, or HIATUS, for 2 weeks. I'll be out of town for a while with family to celebrate Christmas.

That's where I fall short, it sounds appealing but I don't have any non-pony OCs, and certainly none that aren't generic as all hell.

 

Do you have any Pony Variant characters? I know I said no, but if worse comes to worse, I might lift that rule and allow things like a Crystal Pony, Vampire Pony, etc. As long as the list doesn't get too overrun with pony characters.

I do have a Crystal Pony OC, but I'm not sure how he would fight. Not really that, it's more like I don't know how ponies fight, realistically anyway.

 

Go ahead and submit him. Fighting will only be a small part of this RP. It's more about adventure, story, and over all fun times. :)

Yeah I guess you did say that, I just have a hazard of thinking about that when making a character since all character I've ever roleplayed have been in games where fighting is a huge part of everything. >.> I haven't made a page of him, I'll get on it and probably post it in the morning. Sorry it's just so late X.X and I've not got around to making pages for any of my OCs except for my username's sake.

There is more room for characters to join. The no pony-variant character rule has been lifted. If you think you have a unique character in some way, submit it and I'll review it!

Also, participants are now allowed up to 2 main characters max. Enjoy. B)

 

Yeah I guess you did say that, I just have a hazard of thinking about that when making a character since all character I've ever roleplayed have been in games where fighting is a huge part of everything. >.> I haven't made a page of him, I'll get on it and probably post it in the morning. Well, you'd still have a chance to play Syuren when we get to your half of the story, but it's your decision.

This sounds fun. But question is, is a socially awkward nomad unicorn who specializes in spells and everything knowledge and travels with a small dragon allowed to join? Yeah, I'd admit, it sounds like Twilight, but this one isn't much like her.

I'm going to go ahead and close the sign-ups. I have reserved a spot for Bright and Mint. Hopefully, they'll have something submitted soon.

Forgive me if everyone is busy due to timezones, work, or whatever else. And also forgive me for double posting. I just wanted to say...

 

The RP is up.

It's been up since yesterday. The link is posted on the front page. I think only two people have noticed so far.

 

I really like the characters we have so far, but if anyone has changed their mind or wants to back out, I can always re-open the sign ups. I don't mind.

Just getting kinda lonely. The RP is just starting, and I really do want us all to have a fun time with the things I have planned. :)
