Looking at his school in wonderment, Zhi tun just realised what he had gotten himself into. He's going to be the principal of the school. Stroking his fairly large moustache in thought, Zhi walked into the building and looked around before spotting the receptionist. The receptionist's namenwas Mah Kin and she was wearing a blue skirt along with a pale orange shirt.

 

"Dearie, when the srudents arrive, make sure to tell whre they're going and see if they need any help." Zhi ordered Mah in a firm but kind voice. Mah simply nodded and adjusted her glasses before making the final preparations for the influx of students. Satisfied that everything was in order, Zhi walked away as he heard the doors open to allow a bunch of talking teenagers in. Turning into a nearby corridor, he heard Mah direct the students to where they need to go.

"Seem like nobody is here." Vi said dully. She had already packed for school and had managed to convince her dad to drive her there. Agreeing reluctantly, her dad drove her to the school and dropped her off. After giving her her bags and a hug goodbye, Vi lugged the bags into the school's courtyard and looked around as a few more students walked inside. 'Most of the other students must already be inside.' Vi thought to herself as she sat one her suitcase in the courtyard to rest for a bit.

Rabten double-checked to make sure his luggage was secured to the cart. As he was about to push it, it finally occurred to him that he didn't know where the dorm rooms were. He decided to go through the front entrance, and see where other students were heading.

Ulva was kinda kinda nervous going to this school, since this wad his first time learning bending since he was a kid. He also made packed all he needed and he even double checked. He took a deep breth and entered the doors, he looked around inside. He would admit he seen better ,but it was a very nice place. He then went look around for the dorms.

Sha paid the taxi driver and got out of the car. He retrieved his things from the trunk and the taxi drove off on its merry way. He had two over the shoulder suitcases stacking on his left hip and another big suitcase in his right hand. He walked through the courtyard a waved a little hesitantly at Vi before entering the front entrance and finding the receptionist's desk. He waited until most of the students had gone before approaching Mah Kin. "Excuse me, uh. can you tell me where I'm suppose to go?"

Vi waved back to the student and rose from her sitting position. Figuring it was fine to foĺlow him, she grabbed her bags and suitcase and lugged them into the school. At the reception, Vi saw him talking to the receptionist and waited for her turn to find out her dorm number.

 

Mah Kin adjusted her glasses as she calmly directed students to their dorms. When someone asked her where to go, she looked at him, then a0fliped through pieces of paper to find his picture. When Mah found it, she looked up again and found the other two members that would be part of Sha Jiang's dorm. "You three. Vi Heffer, Sha Jiang and Rabten. You three are all in the same dorm. The dorms are down that corridor and then make a left at the first opening." Mah told the group in a monotonous tone. She handed the three their keys for the dorm and sat back down behind her desk.

Aferwhile he gave up and walked back to the front desk and saw Mah and approached her. He looked at her and analyzed her.

"Im going to take a wild guess and say your in charge here", he said somewhat with a tone,"If so can direct me to my dorm my name is Ulva Akhilesh."

Mah moved her finger through multiple pages while muttering his name under her breath. "Ulva, Ulva ... here it is. You are in dorm 3. Go down that corridor and head through the first opening on your left." Mah replied dully and pointed to the corridor he needed to go down.

Vi heard what Mah said about her being in the same dorm as two boys. Breathing in and out slowly, Vi approached them both and introduced herself. "Hi. My name is Vi and according to that receptionist, we are in the same dorm together. That'll be fun."

Ulva followed Mah directions and went inside his dorm and unload his things. Ulva hopes were strong and he was ready to learn, but not at his moment. He looked around at his drom

"Its be awesome if I have this dorm to myself", he thought as  went into his bags unloaded some clothes

Grabbing his large backpack, he exits his father's car. "So this is the school huh? Good, finally here, and Maybe I can perfect that technique. One problem. Where the hell do I go?" Walking around, he searches for someone to help him find his way to his dorm room

((I'm assuming faculty members have already been there for a while to prepare for classes or what have you.))

 

The sound of students arriving prompted Saito to end his morning practice early. He wasn't exactly sure what he was going to be needed for today, but he assumed as an instructor he ought to be ready in case any students needed anything. Without really knowing what else to do, he went out and milled around near the reception desk, greeting students as they entered and generally trying to appear helpful while he waited for a time when he was actually needed for something.

Tehret had left early in the morning in the hopes of arriving at the academy as early as possible, though he ended up getting there more or less the same time as most of the other students. Much of the morning had been wasted convincing his father he didn't need any sort of limousine or fancy escort or something, and while he'd ended up winning that battle and been able to walk to the academy by himself, he'd lost any chance of arriving early in the process. When he reached the school he looked around, impressed by the school and excited by all the possilities. Eventually he headed to the reception desk to find his dorm. "Ma'am? Could you direct me to my dorm, please? I'm Tehret Oz, student."

"Your in Dorm 8." Mah said almost instantly. By now, she was so used to flipping through the pages that they've been committed to memory. "Down the hall, to the left." Mah added, pointing to the corresponding corridor. She sounded quite bored when she said it.

Sha turns as Vi walks up and puts down his suitcase, extending his hand for a handshake. "I guess that's right. Sha Jiang." As soon as he says that though, an audible click is heard and Sha nearly dives for his suitcase. The suitcase had nearly come bursting open but Sha was just in time to keep it from spraying it's contents everywhere. He forced it back together and snapped the hasp back into place. He sighs with relief before looking back at the other two. "Uh ... It's an old suitcase..." He says sheepishly.

Tehret nodded. "Right, thank you. I'll be on my way then." He cheerfully walked off and entered his dorm, dropping off his stuff and messing with his airbending a little while he waited for someone else to show up or for things to get moving.

Saito decided he might as well try to talk to the receptionist since he wasn't really doing anything anyway. "Bored? I imagine that's sort of an occupational hazard for a job like this."

Rabten looked to see the woman who gave him the directions. He was surprised by how quickly she identified him and two others.

As he was about to push the cart, he heard a voice from behind him.

 "Hi. My name is Vi and according to that receptionist, we are in the same dorm together. That'll be fun."

Before Rabten could introduce himself, he noticed the student next to him approached her, and extended his hand.

"I guess that's right. Sha Jiang." Immediately after hearing the sound of luggage being undone, Sha lunged at his suitcase, preventing it from opening. "Uh ... It's an old suitcase..."

Rabten winced at the thought of his belongings being strewn everywhere.

"You need any help with that?" He asked the earthbender.

 

(OOC: Before you ask, I'm not using the Georgia font for the sake of being pretentious. Apparently serif fonts are easier to read.)

Mah looked up from a book she was reading at a question directed her way. "It is but I'm very used to it." Mah said without any emotion in her face at all. "People don't usuakly talk to me unless they want directions or something. So why are you?"

Vi didn't really want to shake his hand and was relieved when his suitcase threatened to burst open. "We should put these away for now. At least in the dorm it will be safe for a suitcase bursting." Vi said calmly and picked up her own bags. They were heavy but she can manage with the weight.

Saito shrugged. He didn't really have that much experience with casual conversation, even less so with the opposite sex. "I... don't know, I suppose. Just thought I'd make conversation, since it seems like neither of us have much to do at the moment. Maybe it's weird for me to ask this, but are you a bender? I was just wondering because you work here, I guess."

Mah noticed a kid looking lost and quickly checked her pages for his picture. "Kenji Miyafugi! Dorm 3. Down that corridor and first on the left!" Mah directed him by pointing at the corridor.

"Sure. I'm a bender." Mah replied and showed him by twirling her other finger and creating a mini tornado which she almost immediately stopped. "I can also waterbend but there's no water at the moment for that."

"Really? That makes us opposites, then." He flexed his fingers and a small flame briefly appeared before immediately going out. "I do earthbending, too. I'm actually the hybrid bending teacher, so this stuff fascinates me. How different elements mix together, and what combinations people are born with, and things like that." He paused awkwardly for a minute. "I guess I should introduce myself properly, shouldn't I? I'm Saito Kobayashi." He extended a hand for her to shake.

Ulva got done unloading his clothes and decide to mediate for a while. His mentor taught him how to and said its was for the mind and spirit. He does maybe 3-6 times a day. Yes it does get quit boring a times, but it was all worth it. He also took some deep breaths while mediating

"-'choo!" he sneezed, accidentally flinging himself almost into the ceiling, but with a kick and flip, he landed onto his feet.

Zoho shook his head, before he continued to where he was going.

 "Hope nobody saw that..." he spoke to himself, walking towards his teacher dorm, the one numbered eight.

"Wait... New students are coming today... Why am I walking over here again?" he said, before turning around and begun walking back towards the main entrance.

Sha gathered up his suitcase in both arms and looked over at Rabten. "If, uh, you got room on that cart i'd be grateful but Vi can take the extra space..." He sounded like he was trying to be manly, but really he was just hoping to shift everyone's  attention to somebody else.

Ulva got done mediating and started to do some sit ups and push ups. After a while he went outside to get some fresh air hoping not to meet some people and to be alone, as he was enjoying his day so far because of the fact  everyone was leaving him alone. He look around at the people of Republic City and and put his hands in his trench coat pockets

"Dorm 3, got it. Thanks." Walking down the hall, he ends the dorm he will call home for a while. Opening his bag, he pulls out various things. Among these are some candles, which he sets off to the side for the time being. "Well, I hope this school works out, after all, explosions aren't easy."

Ulva went back inside his room ,closed the door, and noticed  his roomate

"There goes having a this room to myself", he thought crossing his arms

"DanI'll be careful" ,he thought to himself as he  analyzed him
