Has there ever been a character in a game so annoying, you wanted to kill them almost immediately? Worst is when you are REQUiRED to keep them alive, or you fail. Whats your choice for worst?

 

I have 2 right off the bat: slippy toad from star fox. His constant "ah, halp me, fox!" still gives me migraines.

 

This one, shes only around for part of one mission, but i still wish they let you kill her later, shes THAT AWFUL. Lucrecia Borgia from assassins creed brotherhood. Shes mean, bossy, doesnt know when to shut up. But you still have to use her as a prisoner.

I haven't had this issue in a while. The last time was in Bully: Scholarship Edition, having to keep the "nerds" from getting knocked out when trying to navigate through the school.

Omg, I can't remember his name and everybody hated him, but that friggin fan follower you get for competing in the arena in TES IV Oblivion, though I have kicked him off of mountains a few times

Also the kid from Fallout 3, Sticky, that you have to escort from Little Lamp Light to Big Town...he talked so much...He got really annoying, fast.

Anyway, my vote goes to Ashley from RE4 and Sheva's AI in RE5(the character herself though was alright)

Navi. Especially after playing the game for so many years.

 

Pokey (Porky) Minch. Not so much that he's too terribly annoying, but it always irks me that he's like, "I'm really not cut out for this adventuring stuff." And then he follows you (actually, you follow him) all throughout the game. And he turns into a giant asshole.

 

I never liked the Helper in Kirby Superstar. I mostly just have it around to take hits for me. It's not so bad for the most part, but there are certain parts where you practically need a second player, and the AI of the Helper will not freaking help you, like, at all. So annoying.

Navi from the Legend of Zelda (As probably same with everyone else). I mean, she's cute and all, but DAMN SHUT UP!!!!!! LEAVE ME BE!! I KNOW WHAT TO DO!!! Just throughout the entire game. Her voice even got annoying after so long. That same Navi voice everyone knows.

 

The fellow teammates from Star fox 64. No, I do not HATE ANY of the characters, for I love the Star fox series and the team. I grew up with them, but OMG. THE constant "Help me fox!" "Fox, get this guy off me" "Fox, there's a bogey on my tail". OMG, DO A SOMERSAULT YOURSELF, YOU SHOULD KNOW HOW TO DO IT! WHY DOES FOX ALWAYS HAVE TO DO ALL THE WORK?? The only decent one from Star Fox 64 was Peppy, because I remember him not being so much like that. He was more of the one who was "Fox, there's someone on YOUR tail" and you did a somersault, the end. This also went for Assault as well. It was just more annoying how helpless they all were and how Fox was pretty much left to do everything and was more better off on his own.

no I usually get along with all my AI allies...... as for antagonists their have been a few but never to the point I want to just hurry to the part where I kill them

 

also I see no one not even here likes Navi..... she isn't as annoying as everyone says she is....

Okay the whole Ashley thing from RE4. That's true, until you unlock

The knight's armor for her. After that, she can't get kidnapped and is invincible, along with the fact that she can attract zombies away from you. Granted, it takes awhile to unlock, but hey, she goes from helpless damsel to invincible decoy that armor, and that's hilarious XD

But in all honesty, most annoying tagalong moment in gaming?

 

Captain Keyes on legendary difficulty, Truth and reconciliation mission, From halo combat evolved. Once you bust the captain out of the covenant's brig, you have to escort him to a ship to exit the covenant super-carrier. On any other difficulty, this should be a cake-walk. But not legendary. Numerous ambushes and enemies around corners are evident. If captain Keyes dies, the mission is over. That's the problem. A man in his 50's, charging aliens with shielding is bad enough. It's really bad when the marines around you might as well be made out of paper mâché on that difficulty. He dies so many times, and so will you, trying to cover him. The irratation was, Is, real.

I know, right? He's the worst character in that game. Even Tracy was less annoying. The problem with him is he's a whiny teenager, and I wonder how Michael puts up with him.

I haven't played that, but I watched my brother, and he would constantly knock him off the cliff and bash the hell out of him. It was hilarious
