Things that make everyone else sad, but not you?

It's simple. List the things that don't really make you as sad as some other people would be.

I don't really feel impacted by Animal Deaths at all. TBH, if the cards are played correctly, Human Deaths turn out to be 100x more impacting than Animal Deaths. Especially if the dying one is a beloved character.

Also, Spilled Milk, but I don't think that's much of a problem. Even though I like Milk.

Titanic the movie

I thought it wasn't emotional since the romance scene where Jack dies was just like what?

The stupid woman came back on the boat just to be with him and I was like no, just no.

One thing that makes most people sad but makes me really happy (at least most of the time) is having plans get cancelled at the last second. Usually during the work week I am so exhausted and I don't really feel like going out or being social, so when plans get cancelled, I pretend to be bummed... but really I'm like "YES! YESSSSSS! NOW I CAN TAKE A NAP INSTEAD!!!!!! :D" However, for the record, I'm not a complete recluse... there are moments where I actually want to do things (weekends, holidays, when I have time off from work, etc.), so when those plans get cancelled I do get sad. It just depends on timing, and usually the timing is bad.

-Lol I guess my little dashie. The story was...meh. It's not that great. I've read king of the hill fanfiction that entertained me a hell of a lot more than my little Dashie ever could.

-deployment. My dad deployed 4 or 5 times overseas. Never once cried. I felt kinda bad cause everyone was like crying when everyone left, and I just ate a bunch of free butterfingers as I watched my dad get on a bus.

It makes me feel sorta bad that I never cried when my dad went into a war zone knowing he could end up dying. (It almost happened to him too. He got lucky, only his friends didn't. He couldn't save them, had to watch them die knowing he couldn't do anything.) but let me tell you, I bawled like a baby when I had to give my cat away. I also cried super hard when my other cat died a few months ago.

  • My Little Dashie wasn't sad.

And having people abandon me when I need them doesn't make me sad anymore, if anything I have a stronger reaction to bad grades than that.

Other than my family, I care more about animal deaths than I do human. I still care about human deaths (especially children), but animals are just special to me.

Depending on the occasion, I tend to enjoy canceled plans.

Videos of aircraft getting dismantled. I mean, unless the plane had no special meaning to me, I'm not sure why people would post that they're all sad in the comments .

  • Romance/sad movies. Especially the movie, Forrest Gump. Everyone says how sad it is, and here I am going "Eh, it's nothing all that special."

Bullying. Don't get me wrong, I'm no bully and I have been bullied before, but I've been bullied for so long that I now think that some people should just suck it up and move on.

Animal deaths, to a degree. If said animal has been tortured or been thrown in a river, I would be pretty ticked. Natural deaths, on the other hand, don't really affect me.

I would have to say this.... and a lot of people on YouTube find videos like this to be sad posting comments like "you have no soul if you don't cry to this"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jtId7uSOyvM

I really hate these videos I try to find a good sad pony PMV and I end up finding garbage like this people who make a slide show of sad pony pictures and put songs like  My Immortal, The Minecraft theme, or any third party song they can think of.... the only sad thing about these videos is the lack of effort

>Reads My Little Dashie

"What the heck is so sad about this?"

I'm with you on that it is pretty overrated but a good fic

The Fault in Our Stars- I was dying from boredom while my mom and sister were crying

My Little Dashie- It was an alright story, but I don't think it lives up to its reputation

When some poor kid is killed and the murderer isn't put to justice- I'm not sad, just... disappointed.

idk of anything that doesn't make me sad, but does others right this minute, maybe i'll think of something later and post it.

I mean there is a lot of stuff I don't cry over as easily as others may, but that's mostly because I don't cry much except over specific things, usually things that get me frustrated more so, or when it's something deeply personal to me or something.

So for example, I didn't cry over My Little Dashie, however, I did find it sad.

But yeah, I can't think of to much right this minute honestly.

Ash turning to stone in the first Pokemon and all the Pokemon tears bring him back.

Watched it as a kid and even then I thought it was cheesy, sappy, and lame

Oh, and My Little Dashie was crap, and I'm a RD fan

End Of Evangelion. Confused me? Yes.

^ This makes me sad.

Anyway, for me, anything that sets out to be sad (or tries hard to be sad) usually doesn't end up being very sad. It doesn't feel real, you have to let it come naturally instead of attacking people with it and expecting them to cry.

^ This makes me sad.

I mean, don't get me wrong. I can see why some people are depressed by it. But it just didn't have that affect on me though. I will admit though, there are some sad parts for sure.

Having a vile heart of both stone and ice, I'm pretty sure there's lots of things I don't get sad about that would make many others sad. Strangely though, the only two that come to mind are My Little Dashie (I thought it was hilarious, I'm horrible) and that scene everyone knows from Final Fantasy VII.
