Pinkie is from Animaniacs

Just wondering?  Does anypony else notice that Pinkie Pie could fit right in with the Animaniacs?  She's just as looney as them, with the gags, jokes, etc.  Case in point, take the following scenes:

Yes, Pinkie would so fit in with any Looney Tunes esc. show, including Animaniacs. Heck, she could fit in with the original Looney Tunes.

animaniacs weren't the first cartoon characters to act crazy,

and Pinkie Pie won't be the last.

Pinky & The Brain was one of my favorite segments from that show.  Pinkie usually acts about as smart as Pinky.  But, our Pinkie has flashes of being an idiot savant. 

 

She is her own self & not a copy.  She reminds me most of Woody Woodpecker (especially the one where he has to keep playing the piano while some crooks are stealing it) & the very early Daffy Duck (If you've ever seen the one where he is painting mustaches on everything & Porky Pig is the cop trying to catch him).  Same school of comedy, but less destructive

Pinkie could easily be in one of those shows featuring old school cartoon  characters, such as Bugs Bunny & the like. Bt her desire to make others happy puts her far above the other cartoons of her kind.

just to clarify:  i never meant to say that that Pinkie is a copy of any character.  Just that the first time I saw her antics, my first thought was "she'd fit right in on an Animaniacs episode!"  even my roommate, who is NOT a brony, had to agree with that one!  In our circle of friends, we think of Animaniacs as one of the best kid's shows (we grew up in the 90's), and if the writers of MLP:FIM managed to tap into that, well, then...
