Well, basically shows like Transformers and GI Joe. I honestly thought they were boring as dirt.

I hated Ed, Edd, and Eddy. I also didn't like Ren & Stimpy and Ben 10.
Though I often watched Ben 10 since my sister always hogged the TV and that was one of her favorite shows. :U

I must ask zig fried why do you hate tom and jerry? Is it the newer series or more older ones

I mean the old one. I watched it a lot,but I honestly hated how they fought every episode.

It got repetitive. And my cousins always rooted for Tom. I was always the only one rooting for Jerry.

Today,I see them as equals.

I can't say I liked Ben 10. It didn't help that it was very popular back then from where I live.

I wasn't too fond of Transformers either. Not the 80s version, however. x)

I was always very turned off by anything that fell into the category of Amerime when I was younger. As a fan of anime, I always thought that Amerime was something that was trying to bank on a gimmick and trying to grasp things like tropes and styles that they couldn't wrap their heads around because, well, the creators weren't Japanese. And actually, I still kinda feel that way. Nowadays, I just don't care and I just won't bother with shows like that, but when I was a teenager and really, really into anime, it used to piss me off. My opinion, nowadays, has changed. I think that if you're inspired to go in a certain direction or take on a certain style to your work, it doesn't matter where you're from. If you have an idea, run with it. But along with that, don't try to superficially instill things into your work because you think that that's what the style you chose requires of you. If it makes sense, then go with it. But don't try to latch onto tropes that don't make sense within your work just because you think you have to.

I was always more a fan of Nickelodeon than Cartoon Network. As such, I liked fewer of their shows. Or maybe it was because I liked fewer of their shows that I was less a fan of them. Chicken and egg. A lot of CN shows just seemed really gimmicky and dumb and didn't really seem to work well or make a whole lot of sense. Shows like Cow and Chicken or I Am Weasel were just kinda... stupid. Really stupid. Others which had more of a plot, I still didn't really like, like Ed, Edd and Eddy or Courage the Cowardly Dog. But Nick has its share of duds too, like Rocket Power, which was really ugly and about something you can't really make a good show about... Skateboarding... The Wild Thornberrys, I don't think I'd go so far as to call it a dud. There were definitely people who liked it. I was not one of them. It had a cool premise and still managed to be bland as white toast. On top of that, it was just horribly ugly. And don't get me wrong. I don't think that the art style is the only thing that can make a good cartoon and that if it doesn't have a good art style it automatically makes it bad. I think As Told by Ginger is pretty ugly in terms of art style. But it was a good show because of the characters and the storytelling. The other good thing about it is that it didn't adhere to the "status quo is God" thing. It didn't always go back to the same place it was in at the end of the episode. It allowed for its characters to grow and develop. They moved forward in their lives. That's something that not a lot of cartoons really do. But I digress. We're talking about shows we hate, not ones we like.

I never liked shows that were very overtly girly. There were shows, in the 90's, with female protagonists or even seeming to be intended for girls without it being so... GAAAAARRRRRRLLLLLZZZZ. But then there were the ones that were like that. Shows that were overly pink, pastel, princessy like that, I never liked. Even as a kid, I felt like I was being patronized.

And when I was a kid, I never liked Arthur. Interestingly enough, I had a stint in college where I was constantly watching it on TV and really enjoyed it. But as a kid, I couldn't stand it. It still felt like being patronized. As a kid, I never really liked things that really pandered to kids in terms of life lessons and stuff like that. I knew the cartoons I did watch were for kids, but I didn't like feeling preached to or made to feel like I was in a position where I needed to actively learn something while I was watching TV. That just wasn't cool.

On the whole, I really, really loved TV and I would watch just about anything. I learned a ton of important things from TV, especially in an age that didn't have Google and Wikipedia to answer all your questions. There were some things I didn't like, but there was far more that I did like than I didn't. I had a very close relationship with my TV as a kid ._.

I hated Barney the Dinosaur.  This was ironic because I was completely obsessed with dinosaurs.  My main reason for hating it was that Barney was completely anatomically incorrect.  XD  I mean, what did I expect from a cartoonish dinosaur suit with an actor in it?

When I was a kid I used to hate high school shows and shows where the main characters were teenage girls, or sometimes girls in general(with the exception of Wild Thornberries, Daria, and the Power Rangers), which also meant that I hated shows like As Told By Ginger, My Life as a Teenage Robot, Kim Possible, etc.

It's kind of funny looking back now, since Friendship is Magic is now one of my favorite shows, and My Life as a Teenage Robot would also join the ranks as one of my favorites.....Still hate As Told By Ginger though :/
