Obsolete 681 November 27, 2014 Share November 27, 2014 Bebop is the first anime show I ever watched, but not one I ever finished. Nothing to do with the show's quality, mind you - I was using borrowed DVDs and got sidetracked with other things and eventually had to give them back without completing them. The journey never came to an end for me, but I remember it being pretty cool while it lasted. About a week ago I started a proper rewatch, with the intention to finish it this time. I'm rather busy, so it's been slow-going and I've only done 4 episodes so far, but my appreciation for it has only grown. It's gone from "pretty cool" to "flippin awesome." I'm still skeptical of it being the best anime ever (that goes to Neon Genesis Evangelion, thank you very much), but we'll see how it goes. You should say that THEY look like they took elements from Cowboy Bebop. I don't do research on every show I watch,so how would I know that Archer and SC came after CB? Sorry,if that offended you. I have several of the soundtrack CDs. Here are two of my favorite songs to come out of Cowboy Bebop. Diggin' Ask DNA I fail to see how me telling someone that Cowboy Bebop came first, is me acting like that someone already knew. Bebop is or was my first real well, adult anime and it opened my eyes to what anime could be in plot to music and well, not magic girls fighting monsters in mini skirts or over the top fights that last like 10 eps and lots of yelling!
