Like can't just characters be considered cool.. What's up with all this nonsensical perverse way of creeping people out by spreading it on the net?

Like i love when i can play a game that is fun, or watch a fun movie. If i'd watch porn i'd just go to a porn site. It just tells with information and net it can make it into a creep zone of communication. I mean, MLP actually handle this well i think, because i don't think it tries to slap it in people's face. Its more or less natural to have 2 sided views on it.

I don't have problem if companies want to make characters this and that. I usually form my own opinion based on what i see. I mean its true that one can ignore, because why would someone enjoy being told what to like? But there's a limit to how much burst it can go before it has to go in stop mode. Its not a few cases, this stuff is usually clustered on YouTube, and sometimes in google search.

Sexual objectification? Case and point:

Lola Bunny.

Thankfully, she went from this generic outlook to something with an actual character in the new Looney Tunes show.  B)

Uhhhhmmmmm.

Well... just because people can be sexual and find certain things sexy doesn't mean people are incapable of ALSO finding things to be fun/cute/interesting/etc. Sexuality isn't, like, this all-encompassing lens that we see the world through. Sex does not permeate everything and cancel out all the other parts of existence.

Like, I see Disney movies as fun, innocent, and enjoyable. At the same time, I think Elsa from Frozen is sexy. These thoughts do not negate each other or cancel each other out in my head. They are merely two separate thoughts about the same category of stuff, and both are equally valid. I don't think I'm ruining the inherent goodness of the movie by saying that I find Elsa attractive.

Exactly. I find plenty of characters from shows/movie/video games attractive, but does that mean I don't find whatever it is they're from enjoyable fun or whatever? No. I still find it awesome as well as the characters along with other characters from it. Just use the safe search option if it's such an issue with you.

Personally I'm more of an Anna kind of guy. (Though I'm not saying I can't see Elsa's appeal!) But yes, it's more than possible to enjoy things on multiple levels.

Yes, I find Anna very attractive, but I also love the music in Frozen, I think it has the best crafted plot of any Disney film ever (in fact, it beats most non-Disney films too), and I shed liquid pride whenever I see Anna sacrifice herself at the end of the film. Actually I'm virtually at liquid pride levels just thinking about it and typing this reply. It is a beautiful, beautiful film, and watching it almost manages to take my mind of how gorgeous and loveable Anna is.

A few months ago I had several of my daughter's friends over to watch Frozen and eat chocolate fondue, and it was fantastic being able to watch my favourite film with an audience who fully appreciates it, and to be able to sing along without feeling weird. This current paragraph is not especially relevant to the topic at hand, but I just thought I'd share.

Anyway, dammit, Sunset Shimmer is gorgeous and if she were real... well, I probably shouldn't say. But that doesn't mean I can't appreciate Rainbow Rocks in other ways too.

Everything is sexy to someone or other. But something that is sexy can also be good.

I think that's my main point. TLDR: the paragraph above.
