Could The Dazzlings Return For S5

Okay well I've seen both of the movies and thought the first one was an absolute trainwreck, although the second one was absolutely AWESOME. I was just thinking as it is kind of left open that their amulets need to recharge and will recharge, giving them potential for villains in the future. Also the reception of Rainbow Rocks was largely positive and the Dazzlings have made it very clear that they were banished by Starswirl the Bearded and want to get back. Also they would pose a very serious threat to equestria and maybe they could reprise the Under Our Spell song while inflicting Ponyville with deadly chaos gas, kind of like Scarecrow from Batman Begins, and this would pose a serious threat to the mane 6.

I very much doubt anything from the Equestria Girls spin-off will play any major role in the show itself. Cameos, maybe, but actual story lines and episodes, not so much. Equestria Girls is mostly separate from the show, and should stay that way.

EQ1 was not even acknowledged in season 4 (aside for a couple of appearances of the Waifu Thief XD), maybe because the mixed reception. But now that Rainbow Rocks has received a WAY more positive reception, they might acknowledge the events in the show. But I don't expect them to go as far as marking the return of the Dasslers, sorry

I think not. Rainbow Rocks is a only spin-off, so it isn't associated with show. And i think that creators rather make a new black character.

But, I hope that Dazzling appear somewhere. Their voices are amazing.

Well, the only one who deserve another role the most is Aria's VA, since in the case of Adagio, she's Rarity's singing voice, and Sonata already made a name for herself as Gilda previously

I don't see how they can return since the EqG canon exists only in the movies. I don't have the direct quote in front of me but some of the writer's said they aren't going to cross the plots of the show and the movie.
