So I found this song by accident and I never heard it until 2 weeks ago.

It's about burglars being held hostage by ghosts in a haunted house by the ocean at night. It has a catchy chorus.

"Genesis- Home by the Sea"  -1983.

After taking Music Appreciation (just need to take my finals and the semester is over) I found quite a few songs that fit this description. The first is Bach's Well Tempered Clavier #2 in C Minor a piece Bach made as part of a set to teach music technique.

Mozarts Requim, especially this part of it.

Transendental Etude in F Minor by Franz Lizst

and a few others.

Heard this being used in a tribute video recently. I think it just really got to me because it's not that often I listen to music with such sombre lyrics. Leonard Cohen's voice isn't all that bad either... I'll have to check out some of his other songs some day.

His voice reminds me a little of Cat Stevens (Wild world and Peace Train are some of his popular songs from the 70's)
