As i get older, some feel need talk abut the past with my unger generations and something want to pass on is some nice soundtrack i heard in my youth. So here you go with some samples.

Ceasar III is something I dabbled in for a little while when I was big into Age of Empires and the whole RTS scene. Funningly enough I think Sierra went on to make Empire Earth. The music does make me feel a bit nostalgic. :)

Recently played the new Strider, and there's an updated version of this tune:

 

Nice we gatting into 8 bit themes. I head nes asswell as kid. But dident any music from that in list, cause well dos game are already well known i played on it like titles like Zelda and Super Mario.

I can say this is a very overlooked 8-bit piece. Understandable, not many played the MSX Metal Gear games, instead, most of us stick with the lame-ass NES version  :lol:

One of the best soundtracks ever. Way ahead of its time.

Well, lets see here

I remember playing Command & Conquer: Red Alert

 

Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 (got them from a cereal box way back when)

A slew of NES, SNES, and N64 titles. (my fav being 007, goldeneye)

Oh i so love the C&C soundtrack, i myself play allot of C&C Tiberium Dawn. On my n64. It was port so music wasent as good as the PC one but it still kicket ass!

Thats one I remember well, the original game's theme was such a cherry tune ^_^

 

I can see this begin used in some video when one guys enters an amusement park. It just say's fun, fun fun! MUhahahaaa
