Your OC is invited to a party for Hearth's warming Eve!

The idea of this roleplay is a slice of life party designed for beginners and experienced players alike to introduce their OCs and get them involved in the community. :)

 

This roleplay will take place in Ponyville, but your OC doesn't necessarily have to live there. This is just meant for players to get the hang of roleplaying their OCs and interacting with others in the community. You don't need to have any experience in roleplay, but there are a few rules:

 

1. No evil characters. (Or overpowered characters.) This is a slice of life roleplay! There's no need for an evil character in a holiday party.

2. No power gaming. Duh. Again, slice of life. It's a party, not a contest.

3. Avoid run-on sentences, poor spelling and grammar, or lack/misuse of punctuation. Yes, your posts need to be legible. This is VERY important to me.

4. Please don't try to RP more characters than you can handle. Maximum is two characters, and still, one should be more in the background. (Subject to change)

5. No cast characters, sorry. OCs and Ponysonas only, so we all get an even chance. Plus, it's more fun! ;)Also, I'd prefer if your OC didn't have any strong relations to canon characters. but that all depends on context, I guess.

6. If you get very involved in a very long conversation with another pony, I encourage you to move it elsewhere (like a PM) and post "x and y are deep in conversation", that way we can give a chance to other RPers, but your OC can still be involved. :)

7. If you have any questions or concerns, post them here!

8. No NSFW or gore or whatever.

 

To join, just submit a short profile of your character. If your content and spelling pass my standards, (don't worry, I don't require perfection,) I'll give you the green light and you can go ahead and enter the party. If you're having trouble coming up with an introduction, tell me. :) I'd be happy to help.

 

Anyway...

 

The party is hosted by my OC, Plum Pudding, and I'll be RPing mainly as Amber Dust.

 

The RP will start as soon as the first pony shows up--NO, WAIT. It's late where I live. It'll start tomorrow. :P feel free to post your OCs.

 

Aaand we're open. Don't forget to submit your OC here for approval before posting on the rp thread!

DJ Spacer is good to go. Hopefully this party won't get too crazy. :P

You have time to write your entrance, but the roleplay will resume tomorrow. I didn't realize how late it is here lol.

Check out my post on the IC thread to get the feel of the party. It's a lax, friendly atmosphere, id say.

 

Will you say you knew one of my OCs? (there are three mentioned--Storm, Plum, and Amber). StormJumper seems most likely to be friends with this DJ.

Or, of course, will you be a stranger? You don't need to know anypony if you'd prefer. :P whatever works best.

You can write up your intro, but the RP won't resume until tomorrow.

I have a feeling your OC would like Plum Pudding. She's a bit shy, and very much a sweetheart. A bit of a romantic.

I'm sorry but I am a bit confused on what you mean by my spelling and grammar. Making sure I fit..? I think I will just sit this one out. Like I said I am confused on what you mean and I don't think Lanterns is the best pony for this roleplay. Thank you for looking at his profile though.

Your call on that. He obviously heard about the party somehow and since he's not native to Ponyville it might not have been the most in-depth of introductions. Unless you had a different idea of how he was invited.
