roleplay world Advanced Roleplay?

Advanced roleplays have a minimum limit of 600 characters per post: meaning that participants must write at least one strong per paragraph every time they post. In contrast, normal roleplays only require a minimum of 200 characters.

In theory, this means that Advanced roleplays are for skilled writers wanting to roleplay in greater detail. In practise... well, let's just say that a lot of people press 'advanced' thinking that it makes their roleplays 'special' and forcing their players to write more than they are comfortable with.

@@AmberDust, Cinder is close, but not quite. Advanced roleplays are actually 800 characters. They are more detailed, and usually move slower, although not always.

Also, topic moved to appropriate area.

Thanks. :)

Yeah, 800 words per post seems like too much for this RP. ^^' I'm glad I didn't label mine as "advanced".

Being able to set your own rules as GM is nice.

If you find any elitism among the RP community, please let us know. It could, potentially, count as abusive behavior. The Advanced Roleplays are only meant to allow people to play with people who are closer to their own level and therefore, make their participation fun for them.
