NFL week 16 thread

What's up sports fans?

We kick off this week with a rather... lackluster Thursday night game, in which the two win Jacksonville Jaguars and two win Tennessee Titans square off.

The real winner of this game is whoever loses this game, as they will have a better chance at the first pick in the draft.

So who wins tonight??? I'm picking the Jags.

Where is everyone? Lol

So the Jaguars pull the victory out, and Tennessee is competing against the Raiders for that first pick in the draft!

We have Saturday games this week???

The games Saturday are as followed

Philadelphia Eagles @ Washington Redskins at 4:30

San Diego Chargers @ San Francisco 49ers at 8:25

I'm picking the Eagles and the 49ers!

We also have some bowl games this week for college football! Feel free to post about your college team too! All about football here :D

Hmm, with the lineup I have my money on Eagles though in a closer game as I think redskins are going to play spiteful and they're divisional opponents to add even more flair.

The 3rd battle of the Californian football teams this year. Being at their home stadium, unless John harbaugh simply wants out of the 49ers organization without a care, I think the 49ers will take it.

So i was wrong on both picks yesterday :(

Onto Sunday football! There are a few win and in games this week.

The big early game this week is Kansas City @ Pittsburgh Steelers.

Who will take this game over? Jamal Charles or Antonio Brown?

I think this game is going to be close, but im picking the big play Steelers!

Here are the other early games...

Cleveland Browns @ Carolina Panthers.

Picking the Panthers... I don't see Manziel pulling a win off here.

Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints.

I pick the Saints, mostly because i want them to be at least .500 if they get into the playoffs.

Detroit Lions @ Chicago Bears.

Lions, i would still pick the Lions even if Cutler and Marshall were playing.

Green Bay Packers @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Packers, i think Rodgers and that offense is too big of a challenge for Tampa. But this is a rivalry game! Both of these teams were in the NFC Central before the divisions were moved around, so anythibg could happen!

New England Patriots @ New York Jets.

Patriots, although no matter how bad the Jets are, they always find a way to compete well against the Pats, but i think the Pats are too much for them.

Baltimore Ravens @ Houston Texans

Ravens, big offense, good defense, both of these teams are going to fight for thier playoff lives!

Minnesota Vikings @ Miami Dolphins

Miami, i think they will hold Bridgewater down in this game.

And here are the Mid-Day games...

New York Giants @ St. Louis Rams

Rams, i think the Rams are one of the best bellow .500 teams in the league.

Buffalo Bills @ Oakland Raiders

Bills win this, do i have to give a reason?

Indianapolis Colts @ Dallas Cowboys

Colts... please win...

And the late game is a big one!

Seattle Seahawks @ Arizona Cardinals

The Cardinals clinch the division with a win, and The Seahawks can take the lead of the Division with a win. Both teams play defense, both teams run the ball, and despite the Cards being on a third string QB, they have managed to only lose 3 games.

I'm picking/ hoping the Cards win tonight! Go Cards!

Well I was wrong with both picks yesterday too. All I can hope is for New England to beat the Jets so we can get a bye week in the playoffs. A bonus if Cincinnati can beat Denver as that would allow the pats to have HFA.

I'd like to know for how that 1st down my pats on that final drive was a first down. It was initially ruled 4th and inches and because of that, it forced Rex to waste a challenge flag, and lose a timeout from the loss of the challenge. I'm not quite sure if it would've mattered but I felt the Jets got ripped off from that decision. Well, I could say is that I hope the Buffalo Bills aren't as fired up as the Jets when facing us as that would probably give me another ulcer.

My Cowboys need a win and we take the NFC east! Go Cowboys! Colts are overrated anyway.

Coming from a Giants fan, I'd gladly take the Cowboys over the Eagles in the playoffs. I can't stand the Eagles.

I see the Packers taking the NFC north. Lions had a close call against the Bears. They do that again against the Pack? They're gonna lose.

The Lions have had a bad last stretch of the season, and the Packers are a different team from week 3, but I'm still nervous, good defenses always give Rodgers a fit.

Letting the Cowboys win. Thats what. I'm really hoping the 'Boys don't pull what they pulled against the Eagles. That was disgusting to watch.

I really don't see how Dallas can lose now, they would have to choke really bad to lose now.

I was gonna say that they would choke maybe, but then they just scored a touchdown.

It's all over for the Eagles. They have now gone six straight seasons without winning a playoff game. Including this year because the Cowboys just eliminated them with a big win over the Colts. But give credit where credit is due. Over the last 10 years, the Cowboys had a reputation for wilting in December while the Eagles came to life. This year that shoe is on the other foot. -_-

Oh well...at least Tom Brady gets another shot at a fourth Super Bowl ring. Nobody can beat them in Foxboro. :P

It sucks that my team won't be in the playoffs yet someone in the NFC South who can't get 8-8 can get a spot and a higher draft pick. -_- I hate to say this but the Cowboys are pretty much the only team I do like that are still in the playoffs, mainly because I have a friend who doesn't lives far from Dallas. I do have a soft spot for the Cowboys and Giants because I have good friends that live in those places. :P

In that case, I hope Eli Manning gets some company in the "We Beat Brady" club. ;)

I wanted the Eagles to get in too :(

Give the Sanchize a shot at redemption lol.

I think the Pats are going straight to the Super Bowl, by far the most complete team in my opinion. Reevis can match up with anyone, Tom Brady can pick amy defense apart.

We will probably have another Brady-Manning game too :D

While there were a few games that didn't go my way, the one that mattered most did!  SEATTLE DEFEATED ARIZONA!!!  Oh, yeah!  The road to Glendale will go through the Pacific Northwest!  (...unless Dallas beats Washington and the Lions/Packers game ends in a tie).

I still don't like of how anemic our pass rush is without blitzing but I'm most concerned about is our Oline holding. They got abused by the Jets and I'm worried that other teams will do the same to us. Still so long as Dan Connolly (note, remember that pat offense lineman that nearly returned a kickoff for td, that was him) and everyone else gets healthy for the playoffs.
