Cursive anyone?

Does anyone else use cursive anymore? I remember being in 3rd grade and my teacher wouldn't shut up about it and how important it will be in the future. Nowadays I only use cursive to sign my name on papers. No one likes trying to read scribbles.

IIRC, here in West Virgina, cursive isn't really taught much anymore, outside of signatures.

 

I was taught it back in my schoolings days (consider this, I'm 28 now XD) and we were taught on how important it was and how colleges would require you to write papers with it.

 

Absolute nonsense.

 

As it stands, it's pretty much lost amongst todays youth. Heck, I don't even remember how to write cursive outside of signatures. >_<

Yeah I was always told that when I get older I would write everything in cursive but I think they just used that as a motivator for everything in school like you need to know long division and useless stuff like that in the end it was all BS

Well it was annoying to get used to when I was forced to learn it in primary school. And guess what? It's annoying trying to unlearn it because people complain about how bad your writing is, so the answer is yes I do

If I hand write something, I often will use cursive. But it depends on what I'm doing, if I'm writing my own notes I might well use cursive. If there where a "cursive option" for laptops I could answer the poll in the affirmative.
