What are your thoughts on G3?

Okay sorry about that. It's just whenever I bring up g3, everypony seems to flip out. Or just yell "KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!!!" -_-  So moving on, I honestly think that g3 was decent. Sure it's not very entertaining to guys in their late teens or early 20's. (the majority of the fanbase) But it was never meant to! And no, I'm not including g3.5.   I think hasbro had already hit rock bottom and was desperately trying to climb back up with a broken stick... And I realize that there are episodes like: I can't find my shoes! or what color should the dress be? But I've watched stuff like "A Very Minty Christmas" and it was okay. Not the offspring of the Devil everypony leads you to believe. So what do you think about g3? Have you watched it before? Tell me below.

I honestly love G3, it's a nice show to just unwind and relax to.

I don’t mind G3 so much, I think it’s quite sweet.

 

As pointed out it’s not meant to be a show that appeals to people outside of the demographic, but I quite like some of the song’s.

And G3 was the foundation for quite a large chuck of characters in G4. Such as Pinkie, Scootaloo, Rainbow Dash, Rarity, Sweetie Belle and also the town of Ponyville which I find quite interesting.

There is exactly one episode of G3 that fits this description (and it also happens to have a neat rearrangement of the main theme). The rest of them have other things as their focus.

 

I have a giant piece of opinion over at Tumblr (which one can access through my signature or profile), but in general I think that G3 is rather nice, especially at the moment when they rebooted it into G3.5 (namely Twinkle Wish Adventure).

The Runaway Rainbow continues to be the best MLP flick ever made, in my opinion.

Honestly, I really don't care for it, but I think the hate for it is WAY too strong. I mean, like anything, it has its fans and its detractors. There are people who will see something in it that others either won't see or refuse to see.

 

In any case, as I said, it's not my cup of tea, but it has its place.
