Which pony do you show earth to?

Okay, Princess Celestia has called opon you to decide which pony should get the opportunity to receive a super duper tour of your local town.

She asks that with your knowledge you should decide who should spend the week with you in earth to learn more about earth and human culture in general.

They will enter earth as a human.

What would you show or tell him/her about earth?

Do you think your selected character would like earth?

How do you think they would feel about the human race?

Darn, they get turned into human, I would have brought a dragon otherwise, but in this case I guess I'll bring Twilight along this time, but if I could, I would have brought the red or green dragon along and would have been loads of fun, but hey at least Twilight would be a great asset to the team!

 

Edit:  Oh yeah the other questions, I would tell her about all the books there is in the libraries here and also the internet contains a lot of info.

 

She would more than likely find it fascinating more than anything.

 

They would probably have mixed feelings about the human race.

I feel like the title is misleading. Equestria is on an alternate Earth. They call the world Earth a couple different times...

I would choose Derpy, and I would keep her, because I would spend every dime of my paychecks on muffins, and muffin ingredients. And anything else she develops a liking for. (@___@)

I'd take Luna and go check out a library. What better traditional place to learn about humanity than a library? A museum! After that I'd take her to the movies. Show her humanity's imagination.

 

I think she'd think humanity's pretty close to the ponies from 1000 years ago, except with nukes and sexism.

Twilight seems like the obvious choice.

 

As the Princess of Friendship, she's well suited to be Equestria's ambassador to our world.

As a scientist, she's intelligent and observant enough to learn as much about our world as possible.

She's also one of the few ponies that has any experience being a human, from her trips to the EqG world.

See, if there´s anypony I´d die to get the opportunity yo meet is Twilight.

 

BUT I just can´t help it but to think about how fun it'd be to show the human world to Pinkie Pie. I´m sure I´d have a blast getting her to meet all the places in my town (and it´d be really interesting to see how she´d react to the fact that we eat meat   ). She really has to try Nutella. And yeah, I think she´d like our world.

 

Then again, I think Twilight would be super interested in knowing every single thing about our world. I have to pick Twilight.   I think she´d find our species interesting. However, I don´t know where I´d take her to eat since I don´t know of any place that has veggie burgers in my town.

The one I'd *least* like to take is Flutershy, as there are too many harsh realities to really explain to her.  How do you talk to Fluttershy about Isis?  Or the Charlie Hebdo shootings?

Probably (even though he technically isn't a pony) Discord. Think about it. Earth is a pretty violent and chaotic place, ponies would be shocked at the sheer amount of disorder. Discord is the embodiment of chaos, he would be like 'wow. Much chaos.' and could better cope with the fact that throughout human history we have been tearing each other apart.

 

Edit: What would I show Discord? The news. The internet. The history of warfare. Then I would show him the nice things. Hopefully a crash course in 'humans kill everything' might tell Discord stay away from humanity and you'll be safe from our curiosity.

I would likely choose Twilight as while she may not be the most level-headed of the group, she would seem, at least to me, to be the most enthusiastic about learning of the various cultures that make up our wonderful world.

 

Of course I think she would also be the best to handle the various problems that plague this world without overreacting too much and possibly offering solutions.

I had to think this one out, but I would have to decline Princess Celestia's request with all due respect, I would honestly be embarrased to show anypony earth, Discord on the other hoof would love earth.

I'd probably pick Twilight, but I'm not entirely sure how much she'd like this planet. There is too much violence, hatred and ignorance here for a being who comes from a relatively peaceful world.

 

I'd show her the good things of the planet, obviously, and lots of scientific literature because I think she'd find it fascinating, but I wouldn't avoid the harsher sides of the world either. Finally I'd ask her not to judge all of humanity by the actions of some.

 

Aside from all the violence, though, I think she'd find Earth to be a beautiful planet. Humanity is really the only negative part of the planet.

You mean OUR Earth and not the Equestria Girls World of Canterlot High, right?

 

I would take Twilight Sparkle. Although she had already been to Canterlot High and should have a good understanding of our world, there would still huge differences between OUR Earth and Canterlot High. For one, humans don't come in skin tones of blue, pink, purple, and the like. 

 

She would be shocked at first at some of more violent stuff of Earth, but I'm sure she's capable of accepting it, even if she strongly feels offended.
