23. Seems like me but to be honest the answers and the points they give are a very inaccurate way to show how 'gamer' you are.

25, I'm so hardcore you guys.

i don't like the fact that "graphics & sound" is rated over gameplay & story, and gameplay & story is rated over entertainment value.

Glad someone brought this up, I've always found gameplay & story to be more important than graphics & sound.

15, that sounds about right actually. I'm not by any means a serious gamer, there are a few series that I follow and play when a new installment comes out, but other than that I only tend to play when I have friends online or I think it will make a fun video.

I got 7. I'm not really a gamer. I own a large number of consoles, but that's just because before my mid teens that's most of what I had, and I was very spoiled. In my mid teens I discovered there was a lot more to life. I play almost entirely for nostalgia and relaxing factor, now.

I got 14. The only game I play competitively is Pokémon, but otherwise gaming is not really my thing. I do think that story/gameplay is more important than graphics/sound, however.

Kind of surprised with the results of the final question. I guess it shows that I can live without electricity. xP

I'm about at 12. I play them as an alternate source of entertainment for me. My favorite entertainment medium is animation and I don't like to spend most of my free time on video games. Because gaming isn't my absolute passion, I don't support all companies though I do like to get old games and systems from my childhood. And for some reason I can't enjoy games as much as I used to so I still like to play games and systems from my childhood like Snes, Gbc, Gba, and Ds.

I got 15, which sort of fits me. I've been drifting away from the gamer world and towards books... beautiful books...

It also bothers me slightly that you get more points if you like certain genres.  >_>

I got 19, which I feel makes sense. I am committed to it, but I'm not quite a hardcore gamer. I'm on the verge of being one, so the result is accurate. That said, I feel some of the answers are not weighted properly.

15. There was a time, i was a more active gamer, but i spend so many times, with so many different things, that i can't concentrate on being a gamer alone. But i still have fun playing videogames.

15, which seems accurate as I do consider myself an average gamer. I used to play a lot more, but I somehow just slowly drifted away from games more. I still play a decent amount, but games aren't my life anymore.

I also find it sad that puzzle games weren't mentioned in the genres. Puzzle/problem solving games are the best!

  • 2 weeks later...

I was about to say about how I'm probably in the lower count.  I play very few games and don't find most mainstream games very captivating.

Then I look to my right to see a complete collection of every single novel and comic book about World of Warcraft. I look behind me and see Cataclysm and Warlords of Draenor posters on my walls. Then I look at my other monitor and realize I'm on my character running in circles in my Garrison with the unique Lord of Blackrock title which is attained by the current team that holds the #1 spot in the Challenge leaderboards.

Yeah, okay, I guess I should be around the 30. Or past. Does obsession with one game count...? I somehow doubt this poll will factor in the obsessiveness in the caliber me and my friends employ...

Apparently I'm a 20.
