technical issue Mobile site breaking down.

Over the past week or two ive noticed the mobile site getting increasingly buggy, and i know that im not the only one experiancing some of these bugs.

 

One of the most noticable is that notifications no longer vanish when viewed: they continue to build up rather than resetting leading to it appearing that i have 50, 60, 70+ new notifications, when in fact i have already seen them.

 

I know that at least one other user has the same problem, and that it started for them at about the same time.

 

Another problem i have is that during the same timeframe, writing text on the site has become a nightmare. Random words appear and vanish, replace themselves when i try to delete them and generally prevent me from writing anything substantial. I actually disabled the spellchecker and autocorrect on my phone thinking that the problem might be on my side, but it still persists. I also dont have the problem writing on other sites, apps, text messages or anywhere else - just on these forums.

 

If i switch to the desktop site, all is well. The problem there being that it uses a lot of data and isnt optimised for such a small screen.

 

Has anything like this been reported by anyone else at all?

For at least the notifications not clearing, this solution was brought up once before;

Try clicking mark all read down at the very bottom. If that doesn't work, check the very top box (to the far right of "Saved Notifications") and then try clicking that button.

 

As for the random words issue, I'm looking through the backlog to see if we've ever had someone with that issue get an answer I didn't find anything. D:

In the meantime, I've also brought it to the attention of the other staff.

Please send up a support ticket on this. If you could, include your handset model, OS version, and list any forums that use the same mobile theme that you have visited without this issue presenting itself.
