US Voice actors you'd like to see in MLP?

Being a Canadian co-production, most of the voice actors for Friendship is Magic are based in Vancouver. However, The unique thing about Voicebox Productions, the recording house for the show, is that they have the ability to hire a select few US voice actors for their work, which is how they're able to get Tara Strong to play Twilight (though having Dual Citizenship certainly helps too), and how they manage to get John DeLancie to play Discord. They've done this with other Canadian co-productions before as well such as Kathie Scouce and Tom Kenny for The Cramp Twins, Rob Paulsen for Coconut Fred, James Arnold Tailor for Johnny Test (uggh...), and at least 3 of the main characters for Mucha Lucha are all US actors.

If Voicebox was able to get at least one more US voice either for a guest star, or a regular character, who would you like to see? I always thought Tom Kenny should get at least one role for the show, maybe for a quick Powerpuff Girls reference "The City..... of Ponyville!"

James Earl Jones would be great.  I love his voice.  He would be good as a villain or a wise older stallion.  Danny Trejo has a really distinct voice too and he's done voice acting before.  I bet they could make a really cool character for him.

I second the notion for Kristen Schaal.  I love her work on Bob's Burgers.

Mick Foley(technically not a VA but w/e)

Pff, could be good. I hope that the season 5 villain is spoken by Bray Wyatt (though it's very unlikely.)

Anyway, eventhough he's dead since almost 9 years, i would've loved if Tony Jay would've done a voice. I really loved him as Frollo in Hunchback and as Megabyte in Reboot.

Also, don't forget this:

It's prolly been said, but I want to see Doctor Whooves say a couple lines, spoken by David Tenant.

Oh, and the next villain should be voiced by Benedict Cumberbach OR Eartha Kitt (The lady who played Yzma in Emperor's New Groove).

I don't know if these guys are from the US or not, but still:

Simon Templeman

Michael Bell

Paul Lukather

Rene Auberjonois

They voice Kain, Raziel, Vorador and Janos Audron, respectively in the Legacy of Kain series and to this day I've never seen better voice acting anywhere. I would have included Tony Jay in the list, bud sadly he passed away in 2006.

I think especially Simon Templeman would be awesome for a bad guy.

EDIT: Simon's English

Speaking of grumps, am I the only one who thinks Daniel Avidan could be on this show and totally nail it? Heck, he can even sing like the best of them if need be.

yay, unicorns...

The Mayor Luigi fiasco convinced me Dan & Arin would have been a great Flim & Flam in an alternate universe.

When I first read the topic, I immediately thought of Rob Paulsen.  To me, he seems like he'd fit in well with the show.  Also, Richard Horvitz.  I can see him voicing a fun nervous character of some sort.

Edit:  I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Bobcat Goldthwait.

Tyler the Creator. He voiced a character in Regular Show and he was awesome! I'm thinking Tyler plays a pegasi who says he has more swag than Rainbow Dash. Rainbow Dash is like, "Nah, I can do the double rainboom with ease son!" This prompts Tyler's pony to challenge RD to a swag off. Dont even act like thats a bad idea.

Another VA artist I want to hear on MLP is Brian Posehen. He voice many cartoon characters and MLP: FiM should be his next stop.

Kanye West
